[Rant] What good antivirus software is there these days...
Been diving for a long time, coming over to post something. As the title says, I initially used 360, which is really bad. Scanned for several months with no viruses detected, and it also drains the battery. Tencent's is the same as 360. Then I downloaded Cheetah Clean Master, tried it, felt it was useless, only good for speeding up games. After a while, friends said 360 Clean Master was good, tried it, still the same - drains the battery. Then I finally found LBE Security Master, which I like to use, but recently noticed many bugs. Every time I restart, data is cleared, and settings have to be set again, plus it still drains the battery. Antivirus is just for fun. From these antivirus apps, you can see they're useless. Also, that certain amazing virus wasn't defended against, and that Wi-Fi can see the webpages visited on the phone, also no defense. Just realized. It's. Better. Not. To. Go. Bare.

Especially for devices with 512MB of RAM, it is recommended to run without any antivirus, as antivirus only consumes power... For checking data usage, 1008611 is still the best. For phone spam, the built-in feature is still sufficient. Perfectly running without any extra apps causes no pressure.

Self-start management with a firewall and traffic monitoring, 512 has been used for so long and still feels just as comfortable.
As long as you download software from official sources and avoid visiting unhealthy websites, it is hard for your phone to be hacked.

Have you rooted your phone? If you haven't, don't blame LBE for not working well; some features require root access.
Nowadays, I basically only use antivirus software to clear my phone's cache and then turn it off. As long as you don't download apps recklessly, your phone generally won't get a virus.
