The Chinese version of Meruko Story was recently launched. I believe many players, like myself, are unsure how to tackle the event dungeons in Meruko Story. This article, brought to you by the Pocket Bus Meruko Story section, recommends strategies for the event dungeons, covering card selection, pet selection, and battle techniques.
I. Card Preparation:
First, getting past the extreme difficulty threshold isn't easy, as the low-level enemies in Extreme mode are very strong. Even skilled players cannot just rely on the Air Shield to clear any map they want. (On the other hand, using an Air Shield against a BOSS is generally not a problem.) Therefore, the first step is to have a relatively strong team.
My standards are: 1. At least have two groups of different attributes, but the T tank and healer combination must have the same attribute (such as Grass T tank + Healer, Light T tank + Healer) to cope with different maps; 2. For any given attribute, you should have three backline units that are not countered (meaning you need at least six units in number); 3. Level support: 2-star 35+, 3-star 40+, 4-star 40+. Of course, the above is just a conservative estimate, and in practice, you can increase the tolerance further.
(Regarding farming money: Some people might say, 'I don't have that many cards or money!' Besides spending 1 diamond daily on this event, I haven't spent money. I think the best use of diamonds is buying stamina on weekends to farm gold. Excluding night-time, 10 AP yields 2,500 gold, meaning if you have 20+ AP, 5 diamonds are worth more than 20K gold, enough to draw a card once; the more stamina you have, such as 40 AP, two diamonds yield 20K gold, greatly increasing card draws and helping level up, speeding up team formation.)
II. Pet Preparation
Firstly, you need pets of all five attributes, and if using a mono-colored backline team, make sure they have increased attack for that attribute. Additionally, you need a paralyzing pet (124 or 444). I don't have a Black Dragon, but if you do, it makes clearing the dungeon much easier.
III. Battle Techniques
Since it's extremely difficult, casual players should adjust their formation for each battle. Detailed posts include attribute tables for each wave of enemies—note the next wave's attributes and choose countering cards if possible; otherwise, pick units that are not countered. If you're countered, prepare to learn a lesson!~
Don't ask me how I know! (Of course, if it's an AoE attack like herbalist's 4-target attack, you can still use it even if countered.) Then bring your corresponding counter pets and fight hard.My personal habit is to summon everyone at the start, put 2 points into morale for the back row, 3 points into healing for the tank (maybe it's just psychological comfort, it feels like it improves error tolerance), then spend extra SP points up to 4, and finally upgrade my pets. (What, you say you don't have that much SP? The level of the guild altar is also very important.) The first wave of each stage is the toughest, because many of your BUFFs haven't stacked yet. I usually let the tank do a twitching movement: she attacks once, pauses for a moment, quickly steps back, then faces forward and attacks again, and repeat. Because small monsters have long attack wind-ups, this guarantees they can't hit the tank and also buys time. But generally, you still can't clear all the small monsters, so use paralysis when they get close. Basically, if you get through the first wave safely, you're fine.
Next, the second and third waves are easier if you've invested in SP, because with more SP, attacking is easier. Don't be careless, keep pressing on, and make good use of the one paralysis per wave. If you have a Black Dragon, morale should increase rapidly.
Also, I'm really a beginner, so please don't ask me for a lineup for help, there are many cards I don't even recognize. You can check the recommendations in quality posts. My own standards for judging are: 1) Back row: range 160+; 2) Tank: level 40+, HP 5000+, toughness 50+; Healer: attack 2000+, and must have a tank of the same attribute.
Finally, I wish everyone can perfectly complete the event~ If I can do it, you can too. There's a really great feeling when you use your own strategy to beat a difficult stage.

Never played before......
So frustrating. From the closed beta to the open beta, I pulled more than 10 times, and apart from getting a 3-star once at the very beginning, it was all 2-stars afterward. Because I pull one by one, I don't even know if it's my insanely bad luck, or if this game simply doesn't give anything above 3 stars...
