How should I allocate runestones in MT2 during the late game? How can I use runestones more reasonably in the later stages of MT2? How can I make the most of the limited runestones? If you started playing the game right at the beginning of the public beta, you are now in the mid-to-late stage of the game. Early on, our main focus was on team setup, acquiring more heroes, leveling up quickly, and unlocking more features. But in the late game, we need to think about how to reasonably develop heroes and our own progress. As a relatively high-level consumable, runestones were easy to earn in the early days by farming elite dungeons, which gave 20 runestones per run, but as you progress, it becomes harder to obtain them. Therefore, reasonable allocation becomes very important. Here are strategies for late-game runestone allocation and usage in MT2, let's take a look!
MT2 Late-Game Runestone Allocation Guide
1. Runestone usage has increased in this version, including Outer Realm sweeping, life skill inspiration, Black Market and shady merchant refreshes and purchases. These activities consume a large amount of runestones. While they can yield decent hero fragments and purple gear materials, these new uses are generally not recommended for players, especially free-to-play or non-spending players, because runestones are simply not enough.
2. Regarding ten-pull draws, by mid-to-late game, you already have a substantial collection of heroes. At this stage, it is not recommended to do ten-pulls—they are not cost-effective, easily result in duplicate heroes, and the fragments obtained are few. It's better to farm heroes from elite dungeons.
3. Runestones should mainly be used to purchase stamina and additional elite dungeon attempts. For stamina, it's recommended to buy 6 bars per day, up to a maximum of 8 bars; anything beyond that is for high spenders. For elite dungeon attempts, it is suggested to buy the first 20-runestone attempt for heroes you are focusing on, but not more. Of course, if there are materials urgently needed in the store, you can spend a small number of runestones to purchase them.
4. Regarding infinite runestone sustainability, this is based on the spending priorities above. Then, by utilizing the daily free monthly card, chest openings, and arena income, you can achieve a balanced runestone income and expenditure on a daily basis.
