A small essay written from inspiration
Don't envy those who study better than you; their success is the result of using the time others spend on entertainment to work hard at night. Not everyone is naturally talented, they just endure hardships better. \ Some unspoken social rules must be adapted to, like smoking, drinking, and violence. Cowards will certainly suffer losses, just like how the poor often pay lower taxes than the rich. \ Society is cruel, and you have to endure hardships (unless you have strong family backing). If you don't work hard now, later society will drive you forward with a whip. Make the most of your youth to venture out. There are no free lunches, even lotteries can be fake. Stop dreaming; it's impossible to be lazy and enjoy life, and even if it were, it wouldn't be for you, right? \ Incoherent rambling.

A diligent monk staying up late? How come I didn't know? Damn it, I was the top student in my whole middle school, I ate when I should eat, played when I should play, never stayed up late. As his good best friend, I am really jealous. There's nothing I can do, who told me to be a lazy scholar?

Not everyone is like the original poster, unwilling to be an ordinary person.
Are you willing?
