The story describes the powerful Soviet army retreating step by step as the Allied forces prepare to launch a decisive attack on the Kremlin. General Zhukov and Colonel Chadanko decide to go all out, using an untested secret weapon: the Russian military's time-space machine. As a result, they rewrite history. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Chadanko, they bring the Allies to the brink of defeat, but unexpectedly discover that the Shōyō Empire is quietly growing in power. The sacred Emperor Hōrō chooses this moment to launch an attack. When the emperor's imperial forces bring a massive threat, preparing to wipe out both the Russian and Allied armies from the Earth... From this moment, the development of the world is entirely in the hands of the player. With the three major factions—the Allies, the Russians, and the Shōyō Empire—before the player, what choices will they make? No matter which faction the player chooses to join, a new page of history will be written.
