Dear friends, the editor of Qitan has been obsessed with an SRPG mobile chess game called "Guili Jiuque" recently. It is a conscientious stand-alone masterpiece with an imaginary historical background, free and no in-app purchases. I have been playing the game for a whole week and completed it twice. Today I want to share with you some of my experiences from novice to proficient, especially those confusing decision points in the plot. I hope it can help friends who are just getting into the game 😊
At the beginning of the game, you will transform into Li Rou, the princess of the dead country, and rise step by step in the chaotic world of the war between the nine tribes. To be honest, the early stage was really difficult, especially in the first siege battle. The enemy's formation made me destroy the team three times. Only later did I realize that the key lies in the positioning and resource allocation in the opening rounds. Here are a few practical tips:
First, don't rush to push the main line in the early stage. Try a few free mode map challenges first. Use the silver and materials obtained from the battle to strengthen Lirou's exclusive weapon "Fengming Sword" to +3 or above. This way, most of the soldiers in the early and mid-term can kill the sword in seconds, saving a lot of time and medicine. In addition, the team must unlock the "White Moonlight" character as early as possible - the guard general. His taunting skills are very crucial when protecting squishy teammates. Many boss battles with stuck levels can be passed by relying on him to hold the front row.
Second, about the options in the plot. There are many differences between "mercy" and "decisiveness" in the game. For example, when you encounter a rebel leader begging for surrender, if you choose to let him go, a hidden alliance plot will be triggered later and you will get powerful reinforcements; but if you choose to execute him, although you will lose the reinforcements, you can unlock a top-quality armor in advance. The editor chose the mercy route in the first week. Although I lost one piece of equipment, in the subsequent plot, the leader's lieutenant voluntarily gave up information in order to repay the favor, which actually helped me overcome a difficult hurdle. So don't worry too much about the best solution, choose according to your own heart, each choice will bring a unique experience, this is like the real Jianghu~
Third, for the several recruitable characters added in the mid-term, such as the archers from the northern desert and the wizards from the southern Xinjiang, priority must be given to cultivating their emotional bonds. There is a "favorability" system in the game. Taking them to fight more often, triggering exclusive dialogues, and unlocking combined skills. This combined skill has a large range and high damage. When faced with two or three waves of enemies attacking at the same time in the later stage, it is very cool to clear the field with one combined skill.
Fourth, about the final outcome. The game has multiple endings, depending on whether you successfully convince the representatives of the "Nine Ques Council" in the final chapter. It is recommended that before the decisive battle, you complete all the side tasks in each city on the map, especially those seemingly insignificant tasks of delivering letters and finding objects. These will directly increase the trust of the major tribes in you. Only when the trust value is high enough can the peace plan be passed in the court and the "dream of return and departure" ending where the princess and the tribe rule together; if you don't do this, it will easily trigger the tragic ending of both dying for love. Although it is quite touching, the sentence "The world is still the same world, but the boy is no longer there" really made the editor cry 😭
Finally, let me talk about my personal feelings. This game is free with no in-app purchases, and the development team is really sincere. In terms of war chess gameplay, there is a lot of emphasis on positioning and terrain restraint, but the difficulty curve is reasonable. As long as you don't skip the tutorial level and make good use of the "morale" system in each round (that is, the mechanism that allows you to act again after moving), most levels can be defeated by tactics. I hope these sharings can help everyone. If you have any questions, please leave a message below to discuss ~ The editor is also challenging all achievements recently, and I will report new discoveries to you after achieving them ✨
