To be honest, when I saw the name of the game "Emperor·Three Kingdoms", my first reaction was "Three Kingdoms theme again?" After all, from the Saipan era to the present, I have played at least hundreds of Three Kingdoms games. However, I downloaded and tried it with a nostalgic mentality, which surprised me a little.
Not to brag, this game does have the flavor of an old-school RTS in terms of gameplay design. Dart-capture battles, plunder battles, and siege battles are all very exciting to play, especially siege battles, which require manual control and strategy, a bit like the strategizing feeling of playing "Three Kingdoms" back then. The stratagem systems such as honey trap, counter-attack stratagem, and chain stratagem are also quite interesting. You can't win by simply stacking up combat power, but you also have to use your brain to arrange your troops. 🤔
However, after playing for two weeks, I still found some old problems. First of all, the social system is too heavy. It always says "brother, you go first" and "brotherhood will never break up". It feels like you can't play without recruiting a few friends into the guild. Secondly, the training line for generals is a bit deep. There are famous generals, beautiful generals, and royal generals. It takes a lot of time and energy just to collect the fragments. It will be more difficult to recharge the party in the early stage. 😅
But having said that, as a free game, its graphics and special effects are pretty good on mobile phones, especially the release of skills during combat, which is very impactful. Moreover, operational activities are considered conscientious. You can save a lot of resources by doing them every day, unlike some games that have paid activities every two days. For veteran players who like the Three Kingdoms and strategic battles, this game is worth a try. Finally, a reminder, there are many masters in cross-server battles. If you want to be a boss, it is recommended to practice your hand speed and routines first. 😌
