To be honest, I stayed up late last night and played "Top of Huashan" in "The Three Swordsmen". My eyes are still red today, but there are things in my heart that I don't want to express.
As an old player who has been playing since the Saipan era, I am actually a little tired of this kind of martial arts MMO. I have played a lot of similar games in recent years, such as "Dragon" and "Swordsman Love". To be honest, the routines are pretty much the same. But "Three Swordsmen" gave me a different feeling.
Let's talk about the advantages first. The picture is delicate and optimized in version 4.0, with no obvious lag. The combat system is a bit interesting. Unlike some similar games that are brainless, the skill release here requires a little prediction, and it's fun to perform combos. Especially the "Good vs. Evil" mode, when you cooperate with a fixed team, it really feels like a sword debate in Mount Huashan.
To be honest, the equipment system is more conscientious than many similar games. There is no common bottomless pit reinforcement, and the collection of pendants is relatively friendly. The new mount has a very domineering appearance, but it is not a must-have. At least a zero-recharge player like me can get one, although it is not of the highest quality? ?
Of course there are disadvantages. The plot design is weak, and the theme of Jianghu catastrophe could have been made more in-depth, but the result is to grind the mission progress. Some daily tasks are too repetitive, and clearing them every day is really a bit discouraging. There is also a gang system, which is not interactive enough. I think it would be better if more lightweight social interactions like those in the Saipan era could be added.
Compared with the depth of the plot of "Swordsman", "Three Swordsmen" is indeed a bit behind; but compared with the heavy krypton gold of "Dragon", its completion level appears to be more balanced. To be honest, there are not many martial arts games of this quality in the current mobile game market.
I have paid attention to the company IDreamSky before, and they have always been quite pragmatic in making games. This time "Three Swordsmen" maintained their standards. Although it is not a revolutionary innovation, it does pay attention to the details. At least it made me, an old player, see sincerity.
Finally, to be realistic, the current game market is too impetuous, and there are not many games that can calm down and make the underlying gameplay solid. If you are like me and are tired of those games where you change skins and cut leeks, you might as well try "Three Swordsmen". It's free anyway, just play it for now. When I go to the top of Mount Huashan and meet you one day, can we learn a few tricks? ??
