To be honest, when this "Room Destruction Simulator" first came out, I didn't have high expectations. After all, there have been too many destruction games on the market in the past few years, from the earliest "Angry Birds" to the later "Destruction City", and then to various physics simulation games under the banner of "decompression". The quality is uneven. But after playing it for two days, I want to say that this game does have something.
I'm not going to brag about it, but its core selling point is freedom and coolness. In a complete room, you can smash glasses with sticks, blow up TV screens with pistols, and even knock down chandeliers from the ceiling with a sniper rifle. The sound effects and physical feedback of the flying debris are more solid than many similar games. Unlike some destruction games, smashing something is as weak as hitting cotton.
Of course, the shortcomings are also obvious: the picture is still cartoon-style, and the details and textures are slightly rough; although the weapon types are sufficient, they lack some imaginative props such as chainsaws or explosive barrels; and the level mode is relatively simple. Currently, there is only a free destruction mode. It would be better if time-limited destruction or challenge scores can be added. But considering that it is free and has no in-app purchases, this sincerity is worthy of recognition.
As an old player who has played since the Saipan era, I am actually quite emotional. Back then, you could play Snake all night with a Nokia. Now the game graphics have become more sophisticated and the gameplay more complex, but it's hard to find that kind of pure happiness. This game reminds me of when I was a kid and used to hit my neighbor's window with a slingshot as a kid, only this time I don't have to get beaten 😂
If you are stressed at work or just looking for something to throw around, try this. It is recommended to hit the photo frame on the wall with a pistol first. The feedback is particularly depressing.
