I just finished Chapter 9 of the main plot. My fingers are sore and numb, but I can't help but raise the corners of my mouth. This feeling of being alone on the sofa late at night is not very healing for a night owl like me. Originally I just wanted to play a few levels before going to bed, but when I looked up it was already dawn, haha...
I discovered this game "Save the Universe" when I was browsing in the app store. The style of the game struck me at first sight. The main characters including Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Zenitsu Zenitsu are all here, and this is not a card game where you pile up values without thinking. It has four lineup attributes: fire, flowing water, wind and thunder, and vampire, which can be combined very freely. I have been trying out the strange combination of "vampire + flowing water" for the past two days, and it is surprisingly easy to use. It is easier to beat certain boss levels than the mainstream lineup.
What got me the most was the special plot copy. The fringe characters in other games are just make-up, but here, unpopular characters like Lizard and Nightmare can shine in key plots. Late at night, seeing the little transparent girl I cultivated suddenly explode, the sense of accomplishment is even better than drawing an SSR.
Maybe it's because I played the game in the middle of the night and the surroundings were extremely quiet, so I had no resistance to this kind of slow-paced, non-accomplishing idle game. Just leave the auto-battle on and click on the skills occasionally to watch the protagonists running around on the screen. If you get sleepy, you can just turn it off without worrying about the progress - but every time you say "play for five more minutes", the cycle ends until dawn 😂
