When I first downloaded Euro Truck Simulator 3, I was very excited, thinking that I could finally experience the cool feeling of driving a big truck. As soon as I entered the game, I was confused. It turned out that the steering wheel was controlled by tilting the phone. I got excited and swung it to the left. The truck hit the guardrail of the toll station. Hey, it shocked the cars next to me 🚛💥
As a newbie, I can't even put it into gear! The system prompted me to manually shift gears. I fiddled with it for a long time before I found out that I had to press the button on the screen. The funniest thing was the first time I reversed into the garage. I originally wanted to park at the designated spot, but I watched my trailer twisting around in the rearview mirror, and finally parked crookedly like a drunk driver. At that moment, I especially admired the real-life truck drivers. How did they achieve such accuracy 😅
Another mission was to transport goods from Paris to Berlin. I was driving and suddenly found that the fuel consumption had bottomed out, so I stopped at a service station on the map to refuel. As a result, I forgot to turn off the engine after filling up the gas, so I just opened the door and drove away, hahaha. In the end, I had to load the files and start over again, but the tension of rushing against time was so real!
Although I am a complete novice and still exploring many operations, this game is really addicting. Every time I receive a new order, plan a route, and listen to the European radio stations playing on the car radio, I feel like I am really traveling across the country. You have to get used to the braking distance and turning radius, but I think this is where the fun lies!
Have any other novices encountered similar rollover experiences? Let's communicate together. It would be better if the bosses could share some truck driving tips! 🚚✨
