Hello everyone, I am a game reviewer. Today I saw someone requesting "Selet Continent" on the forum. I happened to have experienced it in depth recently, so I came to talk about this game and my personal scoring criteria. I think the rating is very subjective, but as a rational reviewer, I try to dismantle it from the dimensions of graphics, gameplay, money, and social interaction, so that everyone can more clearly judge whether a game is suitable for them.
Let's talk about the picture first. If I rate "Selet Continent", I would give it 7.5/10. Its art style leans towards cartoon fantasy, the color scheme is quite comfortable, and the map scenes are rich in details. Especially when exploring the open world, the layering of light, shadow and vegetation is well done. But to be honest, the character modeling and skill special effects are not top-notch, and the particle effects during some BOSS battles are a little blurry, which may be an optimization problem. Overall, it is above average, not amazing, but definitely not eye-catching.
The gameplay is its highlight, I can give it 8.5/10. This is a game that focuses on PVE content. The main map is huge, with an amazing number of side missions and easter eggs. The monsters and bosses are designed strategically, rather than mindlessly stacking values. You need to match skills and teams, and even use terrain to fight, which is a good point. The degree of freedom in open exploration is also very high. There are many hidden treasure chests and task chains that require you to explore carefully, which is very friendly to players who like immersive adventures. However, its hitting feel and smoothness of operation are a bit stiff, its combos are not smooth enough, and it occasionally gets stuck in the model, so a few points will be deducted.
In terms of money, is this game currently free with no in-app purchases? I checked that the charging mode is 0, which means it's completely free? If this is the case, then give it a full 10 points in the krypton gold dimension. There is no compulsory consumption, no card drawing, no stamina lock, and all content can be enjoyed for free. This is simply a clean slate in domestic mobile games. But I also want to remind you that if subsequent updates add paid content, such as skins or expansion packs, I think it is acceptable as long as it does not affect the core experience. So far, Zero Krypton players are having a great time.
The social aspect is relatively weak, I give it 6/10. The game focuses on single-player PVE. Although there is a guild system, the social interaction is very limited, basically just chatting and getting buffs. There are no team dungeons, no PVP, and no real-time trading. If you want to play with friends, you basically have to play your own game. This isn't a problem for me, and I even kind of like it, since I prefer the immersion of a standalone game. But if you like excitement and need a social drive, you may feel a little lonely.
Overall, my rating for "Selet Continent" is 8/10. The advantages are obvious: a large amount of content, a strong sense of exploration, completely free and no money, suitable for players who like stand-alone RPG. There are also shortcomings: the operation feels average, the social functions are missing, and the graphics are mediocre. If you are the kind of player who doesn't care about picture quality, likes to play and find Easter eggs, but doesn't want to be bound by krypton gold, then this game is really worth a try. I have been playing it for several days and found a lot of hidden plots, which I feel is quite worthwhile. I hope my scoring criteria can help you make a choice. If you have different opinions, you are welcome to discuss~ 😄
