Later I discovered that there is a "novice tutorial" mode in the game. Click on it and you will get detailed rules explanations and AI training, which is really considerate. It is recommended that you play teaching first, don't be stubborn like me.
The second pitfall is buying skins and pets randomly. I saw a lot of beautiful clothes and cute pets in the mall. I was so excited that I clicked to confirm the purchase, but I found out that I had to use gold coins and diamonds. I had no idea how to earn these. Later I saw that you can get many benefits by signing in every day and completing novice tasks, and you can also participate in family activities for free. So don't rush to spend money, complete the sign-ins and tasks first, and then slowly save money to buy the things you like.
The third pitfall is that the social system is too fun, but I didn't dare to interact at first 😂 A big boss took the initiative to add me as a friend and gave me a guardian badge. I was so scared that I refused directly, thinking that he was a liar. Later, I discovered that in the game, you can form a CP, build a family, and have props to please and trick people, which is very interesting. You can be generous when adding friends when you meet someone, maybe you can make good friends.
The fourth pitfall was that I selected "Acquaintance Mode" when matching, but no one was waiting in line for a long time. I thought the game was out of date😅 Later I found out that I had to select "Quick Match" or "Customized Room" to enter in seconds. In addition, there are many people on weekends and evenings, so matching is fast.
In general, "Mystery Academy" is really friendly to newcomers, with comprehensive teaching, many benefits, and rich social interactions. I have now learned how to use dice and speak. Although I am still often tricked by veteran players, it feels good to slowly improve~ I highly recommend it to friends who want to play board games but are afraid of having no one to accompany them.
