Get straight to the point, no nonsense. After playing the test server for three days + the first week after the server was launched, I sorted out the pitfalls I encountered and the actual measurement data to help you avoid detours.
Let's talk about the core logic first: famous generals are unique, which means that only one person in the server can own each famous general. It means that if you catch it, it will be out of print. If you don't catch it, you can only wait for the opponent to abandon the trap or be captured. Therefore, all decisions during the land reclamation period must focus on "grabbing generals."
Day 1: Quickly level up to level 15 to unlock the bounty order
Enter the game and follow the main storyline. The experience given by the missions in the first three chapters is just enough to reach level 10. Note: Do not click on any "accelerate construction". Keep all the acceleration props in the early stage for more critical purposes later.
Physical distribution: Prioritize completing the levels in the "normal copy" that drop military commander tokens. Each military general's token requires 30 fragments to synthesize, but don't randomly combine the “random famous general fragments” sent by the system in the early stage. Wait until you have collected 10 before opening, because the fragment pools of different famous generals are independent. Opening 10 consecutive fragments can guarantee a complete famous general (valid for personal testing).
On the first day of the bounty order, only the "Easy" difficulty will be played, because the easy difficulty consumes 2 stamina points each time and is rewarded with 5 token fragments, while the difficult difficulty consumes 5 stamina and rewards 8 fragments. The stamina benefit ratio is 2.5:1.6. Simple is more cost-effective. Exchanging 2 stamina for 5 fragments, three easy times = 6 stamina to get 15 fragments, which is 87.5% more fragment efficiency than a difficult one with 5 stamina to get 8 fragments. Your physical strength is limited on the first day, so choose the best solution.
Try to use up the number of "treasure digs" before 8 o'clock in the evening. The ingots and experience books given by digging treasures are missing in the early stage. There is a fixed refresh point for treasure digging, and the glowing grid on the map is reset every 2 hours. Remember to set the alarm clock.
Day Two: Card Level and Timing of Capture
The next day you will find that the main mission is stuck at a certain level (usually 19 to 20). At this time, do not grind the ordinary copy, but go to the "elite copy". Clearing the elite copy for the first time will give you a lot of experience and general fragments, and the probability of the elite copy producing "Famous General Capture Order" is 30% higher than that of the ordinary copy (I counted 100 drops, the drop rate of the ordinary copy is about 3%, and the elite copy is about 4.5%).
Key node: Unlock the "Arena" at level 20. Arena ranking rewards are very generous, and the top 100 will get 200 more gold coins every day. However, it is not recommended for novices to rank up on the first day because the combat power is too severe. On the second day, if you have 2 purple generals in your lineup (just enough blue generals), you can steal the top 500. Just get a guaranteed reward.
Tips for catching generals: To catch generals, you need "Capture Order" + "General's remaining health". The main sources of capture orders are the two daily tasks of "clearing out bandits" and "cutting off grain roads". 5 are given every day. It is recommended to save the capture order until the third day before using it, because on the third day you will unlock the "World Trend" event, during which the capture success rate will increase by 20%.
Day 3: Sprint with all your strength to level 25 to catch famous generals
The third day was a watershed moment. At level 25, the preview of "Imperial City War" and "Imperial City War" begins, but more importantly: after level 25, the third general can be put into battle. At this time, you should have at least 2 blue generals in your hand upgraded to level 25 (with skills), and then look at the famous generals refreshed in the "Bounty Order".
Famous general refresh time: It is fixed to be refreshed every hour (such as 9:00, 10:00), but the first famous general when the server is launched will definitely be refreshed near "Luoyang". It is recommended that you move your troops to Luoyang in advance and fight as soon as it refreshes on the hour. To fight a famous general, you need alliances to help focus the fire. Remember to add an alliance with a lot of people, and use the world channel to shout "Please help catch xx. If you catch me, I will give you a 100-yuan red envelope."
The formula for the success rate of capturing famous generals is: basic probability 10% + the lower the health of the famous general, the higher the probability (increase by 2% for every 10% of blood lost) + the number of combos (continuous attacks on the same general, increase by 1% each round). So the best strategy is: let your allies beat the famous general to less than 10% health, and then you throw the capture order. The actual measured capture probability is about 28% when the health is 10%, and with the activity bonus of 20%, it can reach 48%. If you miss once, just hit a few more times.
Other details:
"Suppressing bandits" and "cutting off food routes" must be done every day, which will give you a lot of experience and military merits. Military merits can be exchanged for "advanced capture orders" (limited to 1 per day). The basic success rate of advanced capture orders is directly increased by 15%. With the residual blood effect, it can be increased to 60%+, making it an artifact to capture famous generals.
Don't spend the ingots randomly, only use them to buy "stamina pills" (limited to 3 purchases per day, 50 ingots for the first time, 100 for the second time, and 200 for the third time). The early level is everything. Only when the level is higher can you unlock more advanced copies and resources. In addition, it is recommended to save the "acceleration props" and use them later when it takes more than ten hours to upgrade the building, which is the most cost-effective.
To summarize the operating rhythm of the first three days: on the first day, grind for fragments, on the second day, grind for card-level elites, and on the third day, work together to catch famous generals. As long as you catch the first famous general (no matter who it is) on the third day, you will have the capital to snowball, and it will be much easier to grab land and resources in the subsequent battles in the royal city.
Finally, I would like to add that the "noble title" system in the game can increase your troop limit and physical strength limit. Each level of noble title will increase your physical strength by 10 points. I gave priority to completing the achievement tasks of "Bounty Order" and "Arena", and my title rose quickly. Don't ask me why I know this. I'm the unlucky guy who didn't catch the famous general on the third day and later spent a week catching it. 😭
I will write this much now, and I will add detailed data on siege battles and alliance battles later when I have time. If you find it useful, please give it a thumbs up so more newbies can see it.
