Hello everyone, my name is A Xing. Recently I have been addicted to this Brick Breaker King Shine. It seems casual, but in fact there are still a lot of things to pay attention to if you want to speed pass and get high scores. Let's get straight to the practical stuff today, from the position of the baffle, the angle of the marbles to the order of clearing blocks, a set of combos will teach you how to shorten the clearance time.
Let me first talk about a basic point that many people ignore: the initial angle when the marbles are launched determines the rhythm of most of the game. It is recommended to launch at a fixed angle of 45 degrees, so that the marbles will most likely bounce back at a symmetrical angle after hitting the top for the first time, covering the widest range and giving priority to the blocks in the middle area. If you are used to hitting at random angles, the subsequent rebound trajectory will become very random. It is often the case that the marble gets stuck on one side and rebounds, while the block on the other side does not move at all.
Next, let's talk about baffle micro-operation. Many people think that blocking means catching the ball from the left or right. In fact, the position of the ball directly affects the landing point of the next hit. I have actually measured that when a marble lands on the left end of the baffle, it will deflect to the left, and if it lands on the right end, it will deflect to the right. The closer to the edge, the greater the deflection. So if you want to clear the remaining hard blocks on the right side, use the left end of the baffle to catch the ball and give the marble an acceleration to the right. This technique is especially useful in the finishing stages, saving at least two marble cycles.
There is also a way to clean up blocks. Some blocks in the game require multiple hits before they break. For example, silver blocks require two hits, and gold blocks require three hits. My suggestion is: give priority to destroying ordinary white blocks and low-health blocks in the first round to open up the space and give the marbles more bounce paths. When there are only high-health blocks left on the field, use the directional control after catching the ball with the baffle to concentrate your firepower and destroy them one by one. Don't fight against the golden blocks as soon as you come up. The marbles will be blocked after a few bounces, which is extremely inefficient.
The timing of the appearance of the props must be correct. Props such as "widening baffles", "multi-balls", and "adsorption" will occasionally be dropped in the game, but many players eat them when they see them, which in turn disrupts the rhythm. The widened baffle is suitable for eating when the marbles are getting faster and easier to miss; the multi-ball props are best for eating when there are many and dense blocks on the field. Three balls are ejected at the same time, doubling the speed of clearing the field; the adsorption props (that is, the baffle can stick to the marbles before launching) are best used when there are only the last few high-health blocks left. You can aim accurately and take away one with one ball to avoid wasting time of marbles jumping around.
Finally, let me mention a hidden mechanism that many people don't know: if the marbles continuously hit the block without falling to the ground, they will accumulate a "combination multiplier". Every 5 consecutive hits will increase the damage by 10%, up to a maximum of 50%. This means that if you can keep the marbles bouncing in the air, hitting the golden block can go from three to two. The key to maintaining a combo is not to move the baffle too much, and try to make fine adjustments in place so that the marbles land near the middle of the baffle every time they bounce. In the early stage, you can deliberately let the marbles bounce a few times in the bottom area and use the walls on both sides to stabilize the rhythm.
To summarize the speed pass formula: launch at a 45-degree angle -> prioritize clearing low-health blocks -> catch the ball at the edge of the baffle to control the direction -> eat multiple ball props in the middle area -> use adsorption props to kill accurately in the final stage. By following this process, the average clearance time for common levels can be shortened by more than 30%.
By the way, the theoretical shortest clearance time in the highest difficulty mode in personal testing is 47 seconds. My current best result is 52 seconds, and I am still optimizing the last few steps. If there are brothers who can play faster, please share in the comments section and see if there are any tricks I haven't discovered yet. 😎
