Let me put the conclusion first: There is no absolute weak profession in this game, but the gap between strengths and weaknesses in different stages and different scenarios does exist. I spent three days sorting out the skill mechanisms, attribute growth curves and actual combat data of each profession, and here's the hard stuff.
The first is the warrior, classic melee tank + burst. It has the highest health growth on the panel and comes with a damage reduction passive, making it the first choice for taking down BOSS in PVE. But note: The warrior's explosive skills "Whirlwind" and "Thunder Blow" have forward swing movements, and they will be kited by flexible professions in PVP. In actual testing, with the same equipment, the winning rate of warriors against mages and archers is only about 40%, but the survivability of the team beats other professions.
Mage, long-range spell machine gun. The skill range is large, the AOE monster clearing efficiency ranks first among all professions, and it is a must-have for guild dungeon rankings. But its body is brittle, its movement speed is slow, and it's basically cool if you get close to it. In terms of data: the mage has the highest intelligence growth, but each point of intelligence only adds 1.2 spell damage, while each point of warrior strength adds 1.5 physical damage, which causes the mage's damage curve to slow down in the later stage. However, the mage has the only deceleration + control skill of the entire profession, Freezing, which is very effective against warriors in PVP, with a winning rate of 60%.
Archer, long-range physical DPS, with the highest flexibility. It has built-in acceleration skills and a short displacement CD. In PVP, it is a perfect dog-walking prince. However, the fatal shortcoming of archers is that they are more fragile than mages, and most of their skills deal single-point damage. When fighting BOSS, they are prone to sudden death due to the hatred mechanism. According to actual measurements, the PVE output of archers is about 15% lower than that of mages with the same equipment, but the PVP winning rate can reach 70% (as long as the operation can keep up).
To sum up: if you are a casual party or like to hug your thighs, warriors are the most comfortable; if you want to rush through the rankings, choose a mage; if you like to show off your operations and increase PVP points, practice as an archer. It is recommended that novices first play Warrior to familiarize themselves with the mechanics before considering changing professions. I will test the suit benefits of each profession in the future and update after I finish the data.
