Hello everyone, I am a game reviewer. Today I would like to use the mobile game "Eternal Dragon Sword" to talk about my usual standards for scoring games. After all, whether the game is fun or not cannot be based solely on feelings. The scoring dimension must be discussed clearly.
Let's talk about the overall score first. My overall score for “Eternal Dragon Sword” is 7.5/10. This score is neither high nor low, it falls into the category of "you can play it but don't expect too much". Below I will explain why this is done in several dimensions.
Screen: 7/10
As an authentic version authorized by Jin Yong, the scenes and character modeling do have a martial arts flavor, and the snowy scenery of Binghuo Island and the majesty of Guangmingding are quite restored. However, the texture quality is rough in some places, especially the facial details of the characters, which can easily make people look confused. In addition, the UI design is a bit old-fashioned and does not have the sophistication of today's mainstream mobile games. Give it 7 points, which is quite satisfactory.
Gameplay: 8/10
The gameplay is the most solid part of this game. Qimen, Experience Tower, Escort, Zhenwu Tower, and Five Elements Flag Trial are full of content, and each gameplay has certain strategies. For example, the Escort needs to be an anti-robbery dart, and the Zhenwu Tower needs to be matched with a knight lineup. The survival mode of Ice and Fire Island Survival is also quite interesting. It can be played by multiple people, either through collaboration or by cheating each other. However, the disadvantage is that the early guidance is too weak, and newbies are easily confused and have a high degree of enthusiasm. Daily tasks can take more than an hour every day.
Krypton Gold: 6/10
The charging mode is written as "0", but it is actually free download plus in-app purchase. You can play without spending money, but the improvement in combat power will be very slow. In the core systems of vigilantes and collections, there is a clear gap between micro-player and medium-player. 0 Krypton Party recommends playing in the early stage. If you don't recharge in the later stage, you can basically just run with it. However, there are no forced ads or malicious pop-ups, which is quite conscientious.
Social: 7/10
There are enough social contents such as gangs, martial arts competition, and Five Elements Flag Trial. You can join gangs to fight in teams and chat with each other. But the disadvantage is that the matching experience of wild teams is average, there are many AFK players, and they need to find regular teammates to get high rewards. The gameplay of traveling with children is considered innovative, and it is quite cute to run around with a small follower.
In the final analysis, the scoring criteria are based on the balance of the game in the four dimensions of "pictures/gameplay/money/social interaction". If one item is too stretched, the overall experience will collapse. For example, the gameplay of "Eternal Dragon Sword" is good, but the graphics and the balance of krypton gold are a bit lagging behind. Therefore, I give it 7.5 points and recommend it to players who don't mind the liver and like to socialize with martial arts. What do you think? Welcome to discuss the scoring criteria in the comment area~😉
