Hello everyone, I am a game reviewer. Today I want to use the game "Pippi Shrimp Legend" to talk to you about my scoring criteria. Many players ask why I always use the dimensions of "pictures/gameplay/money/social interaction" to score. Let's take this magical idle management game as an example today.
Let's talk about the graphics first: The Legend of Pipi Shrimp follows the line of funny cartoons, with bright colors and character designs full of nonsensical elements, such as the exaggerated expressions of the spirit beasts and funny dialogues. But the disadvantage is that the UI is a bit crude and the touch feedback of some buttons is not sensitive enough. I give it a score of 6.5, which is better than passing. It wins because of its unique style.
Let's talk about the gameplay: the core is placement management + plot puzzle solving. You need to feed the spirit beasts, participate in the shrimp Kun competition, decipher the secret recipe of Zuixian Tower, etc. Event triggers are highly random, and the imaginative questions and magical soundtrack can really make people smile. However, the depth is limited, and the feeling of repetition becomes strong in the later stages of the game, and you can advance by basically hanging up. I would give it 8 points for design alone, deduct points for playability, and give it an overall 7 points.
Gold part: The game is free, there is no mandatory recharge, and there are no physical limits, which is very conscientious. But if you are pursuing rankings or accelerated growth, you can watch ads in exchange for resources. It is essentially a “time-for-profit” model. I personally think that the pressure on krypton gold is very small, so I give it 9 points.
Social function: There is a ranking list for the Xi Kun Competition, but the interaction method is simple, basically just comparing values. There is no in-depth social interaction such as teaming up or chatting. It is suitable for single-player parties, so I give it 6 points, which is considered to be no merit and no fault.
Taken together, the screen is 6.5 + the gameplay is 7 + the gold is 9 + the social network is 6 = an average of 7.1. I rounded it up to 7.5, mainly because the theme is novel, free and free of tricks, but the lack of content in the later stages is a flaw. If you like relaxing and magical idle games and are willing to pay for the laughs, you can give it a try; but players who are looking for in-depth strategies may be disappointed.
