I came across this game on the forum, and I happened to be playing "This is Jianghu" recently. As a reviewer, I would like to talk about my logic in rating it. Many players have disputes about the ratings. I think it is better to look at the dimensions to avoid emotional scoring.
Screen: 7/10
To be honest, this game is not of AAA level martial arts graphics, the engine is about the level of the 5.0s, and the textures, lighting and shadows are a bit primitive, but the advantage is that the style is unified and has the charm of an ink-and-wash world. The character modeling is not exquisite, but the combat special effects can clearly distinguish the movements of the six types of martial arts. Knives, swords, jabs, and punches hit the flesh. Compared with those light-pollution mobile games, it has a sense of solidity like an old-school MMO. The main deduction points are that the UI is a bit outdated and the interaction is not smooth enough.
Gameplay: 8.5/10
The core selling points are the degree of freedom and depth of development. You can switch between hundreds of sects and six types of martial arts at will, unlike some games that force you to choose a sect and then regret it. Traveling around the world triggers random events. The dungeons such as Blood Rain Tower and Tang Sect Soul Chasing Array are designed to be fun to explore. The mysteries of the Flying Immortal and the Tathagata Palm are also enough to keep players excited for a while. However, the shortcomings are also obvious: the level of enthusiasm is high, the copy resources are very repetitive, and it is easy to get boring in the later stage. But if you are a plot person, the mission line is interspersed with choices between good and evil, and the sense of immersion is really good.
Krypton Gold: 9/10
The charging mode is marked as 0, and the actual play is indeed a model of being able to play with zero krypton. There is no physical strength or VIP in the mall, it mainly depends on the skill and strategy. Equipment and martial arts can be dropped through dungeons or exchanged for sect contributions, and time can be exchanged for strength. The only thing that may be considered "golden points" are some appearance and convenient props, but they do not destroy the balance at all. This point deserves high marks, especially compared to the current proliferation of 648 gift pack games.
Social: 7/10
There are PVP rankings such as the Popularity List and Weapons List, and the gang system is normal, but the overall social attributes are weak. Individual players can also have fun, and team dungeons have matching but are not required. People who like liveliness may find it deserted, but lone wolf players will be very comfortable. The real social interaction lies in forums and sects fighting each other, while the game is more like single player + ranking list.
Overall rating: 8/10
If you accept the old graphics, don't mind your anger, and like the immersive martial arts experience, "This is Jianghu" is one of the few conscientious free games in recent times. The disadvantages are repetitive work and simple UI. When giving points, points will be deducted for the screen but points will be added for the gameplay and gold. Overall, it is worth a try. When you make a star rating, don't just look at the first impression. It will be more fair if you consider these dimensions~ 😎
