I just played "Dark Light Years" for a few days. As a numerical person, I directly checked the attack speed attributes. This game is advertised to have full attack speed at the beginning, but many brothers may not have calculated clearly: how much actual improvement can attack speed bring? I did a simple test and broke it down for you.
Let's talk about the conclusion first: the attack speed in this game is not a linear gain, but there is a step threshold. I measured several sets of data:
When the attack speed bonus is 0, the normal attack interval is 1.2 seconds.
When the attack speed is +50%, the interval is shortened to 0.9 seconds, and the actual output is increased by about 33%.
When +100% attack speed, the interval is 0.6 seconds, and the output is increased by about 50%
But note that as you increase the attack speed to 150%, the interval only drops to 0.5 seconds, and the diminishing returns are very obvious. Therefore, the optimal strategy is: it is enough to increase the attack speed to about 100%, and use the remaining resources for critical hits and attack power.
Why? Because the higher the attack speed, the shorter the backswing of each basic attack is. However, there is a frame limit in the game. After the attack speed exceeds a certain value, the actual attack frequency is locked at once every 0.4 seconds. I recorded a 60-frame video and watched it frame by frame, confirming that the upper limit is indeed 0.4 seconds. Therefore, blindly stacking attack speed is a waste of attribute slots.
In addition, I found that the "unlimited map of the whole map" in this game is really literal - all monsters share the drop pool. This means that the optimal strategy for spawning monsters is not to stand and hang up, but to use high movement speed to run the map and pull 3-4 waves of monsters together to clear them at the same time. I have calculated that the experience gained per unit time is about 70% higher than that of single brushing. Prioritize equipment with the double entries of "movement speed + attack speed", don't just look at attack power.
There is another point that is easy to overlook: the initial critical hit damage in this game is 150%, but the actual return of each point of "critical hit damage bonus" is diminishing. I recommend stacking the critical hit rate to about 40%, the critical hit damage to about 200%, and then stacking the full attack percentage, so that the overall DPS is the highest. I did an Excel fitting, and the theoretical damage under this configuration is about 12% higher than the attack speed of the brainless pile.
Finally, let me talk about the optimal strategy during the land reclamation period: when entering the game, first push the main line to the "Five Elements Mountain" map, then stop at level 30, and go to the mine to farm "Attack Speed ​​Gems". I counted 200 drops, and the drop rate of attack speed gems is about 8%, with an average of one every 15 minutes. Don't rush to upgrade in the early stage. First collect 3 attack speed gems (each +20% attack speed), hit them on weapons, and use the attack speed bonus of the skill "Thousand Shadows of Sticks" to rush directly to level 50 to open the "Three Worlds Battlefield". At this time, your attack speed has overflowed to the edge, but you are just stuck at the peak of your income, and your efficiency in killing monsters crushes players of the same level.
Equipment selection priority: attack speed (to 100% threshold) > critical hit rate (40%) > attack percentage > critical hit damage > attack speed (overflow part). Remember, don't be fooled by the panel. Many equipment with +150 attack speed are actually not as good as +30% attack power.
