Let's talk about the conclusion first: This game looks like a cartoon, but the underlying numerical design is actually quite rigorous, especially the skill multiplier and action frame rate of the Mecha Dinosaur. I spent three nights repeatedly playing through the first ten levels, recorded the optimal paths and skill combinations for each level, and shared several efficient play methods verified by data.
First, don't rush to auto-combat at the beginning. In the first two levels, you manually control the position of the dinosaur, and the two mobs can be spawned at a fixed position and AOE can be reached at the same time. It has been measured that manual monster induction is 4.2 seconds faster than automatic monster induction, which is equivalent to saving 15% of the level time. Mecha Dinosaur's normal attack forward is 0.3 seconds, but attacking while moving will take 0.15 seconds longer, so standing still and outputting is more efficient than attacking while walking.
Second, there is an optimal solution to the order of skill upgrades. Upgrade Flamethrower to Level 2 first, because its continuous damage frame is shorter than that of Laser, and it can trigger the stun effect. I compared three skill-adding paths: all-point laser, all-point flame, flame level up to two and then basic attack. The result is a combination of flame level 2 + attack power. In the third level BOSS battle, the DPS is 18% higher. Note that the BOSS's defense damage reduction is a fixed value, not a percentage, so multiple attacks are more cost-effective than a single high-damage attack.
Third, don't spend resources indiscriminately. Gold coins give priority to buying movement speed. According to actual measurements, each level of movement speed can save an average of 2.7 seconds per level. Blue fragments can be synthesized into mechas. Save 10 and directly exchange them for the third skill slot. One more skill means you can perform more combos during the cooldown interval. I have calculated that the clearance time benefit brought by the third skill slot is 1.8 times that of the mecha.
Finally, a reminder, for the splitting mob in level 6, use the range electric shock skill to clear it the fastest, don't use a single point. Don't ask me how I know, it took me seven times to find the optimal solution😅 This style of play currently takes 36 minutes for me to speed through, which is much faster than the average 45 minutes seen on the forum. Please give it a try and give me your feedback.
