Hello everyone, I am the newbie who wants to guide you! It has only been three days since I played Euro Truck Simulator 3. I am really in love with it and angry at the same time. This game is so realistic that I almost smashed my keyboard hahahaha.
On the first day, I excitedly chose a big truck, but ended up reversing into the warehouse and crashing! I couldn't understand the reversing angle at all. There was a pillar behind me that I had to bump into seven or eight times before I could stop. I was so angry that I scratched my head. Later I learned that I had to press the C key to switch the perspective, woo woo hoo.
Then there are the speeding fines! I felt so good while driving and pressed the accelerator to the bottom, but suddenly a ticket popped up and I was deducted a lot of money. It turns out that this game has a speed camera, and you have to look at the speed limit sign to drive, just like driving in real life. Later, I honestly turned on the cruise control and it felt much more comfortable.
Another pitfall is the oil volume! The first time I ran a long distance, from London to Paris, I suddenly ran out of gas halfway. The car stopped on the highway, and it cost a lot of money to call for rescue. Only then did I know that I should check the fuel gauge before setting off and refuel at the service area.
The funniest thing is that I was still driving even though I was extremely sleepy, and the game actually reminded me that I was driving while fatigued, my eyes would become blurry, and the steering wheel would float. At first I thought I was sleepy, but later I realized that the game has a fatigue system! Had to go to a rest stop to sleep.
But to be honest, this game is really fun. Although I am a newbie and make mistakes all the time, I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I deliver the goods on time every time and see the money arrive in my account. Thanks to the friend who recommended it to me last time, otherwise I wouldn't have known there was such a realistic truck game!
