To be honest, after playing mobile games for so many years, all the way from the Symbian era, what type of shooting game have I not seen? When I first started playing "Survival Hunter", my first reaction was: Isn't the picture quality too plain? But after playing one level, I found that I was wrong. I'm not going to brag about it, but what impresses me most about this game is precisely its sense of “returning to nature”.
Nowadays, those shooting masterpieces on the market often feature open worlds, hundreds of people fighting against each other, multi-skill combos, gorgeous graphics, and complicated operations that make people confused. I'm in my early thirties, and my reflexes and energy are not as good as when I was twenty. I really don't want to feel like I'm practicing fingering every time I play a game. And what about "Survival Hunter"? Running, jumping, sprinting, reloading, aiming, shooting, every operation is clean and smooth, and feels as smooth as spreading butter. This feeling reminds me of the time I played "Pistol 3D" on Nokia ten years ago - it was simple, but I just couldn't stop.
Among similar games, "Call of Duty Mobile" is too boring, and zero krypton players can't keep up with the rhythm; "Peace Elite"'s chicken game mode is too tiring, with a game lasting half an hour, which is extremely unfriendly to fragmented time. In contrast, the level design of "Survival Hunter" is very smart. Each level lasts three to five minutes, and is challenging enough. Loot items are dropped randomly. You can log out after completing one game, and no one is tied up at all. And its combat rhythm that combines hand-to-hand combat with long-range shooting reminds me of the passion of the early "Metal Slug", and it's particularly enjoyable to play.
Of course, it's not without its shortcomings. For example, the graphics are indeed crude and incomparable with those next-generation mobile games; the prop system is also relatively straightforward and lacks in-depth development lines. But thinking about it from another angle, this has become its advantage - it will not make you addicted to krypton gold. The developer Taoteng Interactive Technology can make the charging model 0, which makes old players like me almost cry. In today's games, who doesn't try their best to drain your wallet? The pure attitude of "Survival Hunter" of "love to play, don't play to bring down" makes it even more precious.
In short, if you are an old player like me who is tired of stacking special effects and krypton gold traps, or you just want to find a shooting game that can be fun anytime and anywhere, you might as well give "Survival Hunter" a try. It may not wow you, but it will definitely make you feel comfortable. Put away those fancy weapons, aim, shoot, that's enough. 👍
