Brothers, I've recently been exposed to a bunch of skin-for-money mobile games, and it's really disgusting to me. Things like "Ten draws in a row at the beginning" and "Charging 6 yuan to get a magical item" are all routines. Today I came across an old game called "Stay Alive", which is free to download, can be played on a stand-alone computer, and has no in-app purchases, which made me feel relieved.
You play a survivor struggling in a zombie apocalypse. Every day you search the house, find food, make weapons, and hide from zombies. There is no automatic path finding, no one-click sweep, you have to operate every step by yourself. You can make money even if you find a broken backpack, and you can be happy for a long time if you find a bag of instant noodles. The map is randomly generated, and each start is different. If you die, you are really dead, and you don't have to read the archive - it's so hardcore.
The picture is pixelated, but the atmosphere is well done. When being chased by zombies on a rainy night, my heart can really jump into my throat. And the developer, Beijing Binghema Technology, actually made the game free? There are no ads, no payment to unlock chapters, and it relies purely on word of mouth. This is a rare animal in today's mobile game market 🐼
Seriously, if you are tired of those "games" that force you to spend money, force you to join a guild, and force you to sign in and clock in every day, why not spend a few dollars (or even free) to play "Survive" and experience the real pressure of survival. Recommended to all stand-alone players, this is the game we want: gameplay-oriented, content is king. 👊
Don't ask me if I would recommend other mobile games, just "go play stand-alone" if you ask me. This "Stay Alive" is worth your time, if only to prove that you can survive three days in the zombie world. 🔥
