Let's start with the conclusion: Assassin is the best solution for speedrunning in the current version, bar none. I created a new account and tested it 8 times, choosing different professional routes for comparison - the warrior has high tankiness but slow map running, the mage has strong AOE but lacks mana in the early stage, and the assassin has triple bonuses of stealth + burst + movement speed, which perfectly fits the logic of speedrunning. Below are the steps and data.
Step one: Add agility to all attributes at the start. Don't spend any points on strength or intelligence. The assassin's damage growth coefficient is linked to agility. Each point of agility provides 0.8 attack and 0.3 critical hit rate, and the income is 12% higher than strength (I verified it by washing points on an alt). After adding points, do the novice main line immediately. Be careful to only fight ordinary mobs. If you encounter elite monsters, just hide and go around them. The first 10 levels have a fixed process and take about 5 minutes to complete.
Step 2: After level 10, go straight to the elite refresh point on the left side of the map "Forest of the Dead". The key equipment here is the "Shadow Blade", with a drop rate of about 8%, but the mob pool can be refreshed by repeatedly switching scenes. After 12 actual tests, I stabilized this weapon. The attack rate is +120 and the critical hit rate is +3%. Compared with the initial dagger, the damage expectation has increased by 18.6%. If the black face does not drop after more than 20 times, the next best thing is to get the "Swift Short Blade" (+95 attack, +2% movement speed). The difference is about 7%, which is acceptable.
Step 3: Pay attention to equipment enhancement. At levels 10-20, resources are given priority to weapons and shoes. The weapon is strengthened to +5, and each level increases the basic attack by 12 points. The cost is only 3 low-level strengthening stones (it takes 15 minutes to complete the daily tasks). The shoes are strengthened to +3, and the movement speed is increased by 15%. With the assassin's own "Wind Step" skill, the movement speed can reach 1.4 times the base value. This benefit is very obvious when running the map. It originally took 2 minutes to get to the BOSS room from the outside of the imperial city, but it was shortened to 1 minute and 20 seconds after strengthening.
Step 4: After level 20, go directly to the Imperial City. Don't be greedy for experience on the way. Use stealth + detour to skip all unnecessary battles. There are 3 elite guards at the entrance to the imperial city with 80,000 HP and high attack frequency, but their weakness is the narrow range of hatred. Use the assassin's "Shadow Assault" skill to extend the distance, then block the pillar and move around. When the skill CD is up, you can directly burst out in three consecutive bursts and take him away - the actual combo: Shadow Assault (starting hand) + Heart Stab (2.5 times damage critical hit) + Finishing move (3 times damage). After defeating the guard with this set, there is still 12% health left. If you draw two swords and draw A, you will fall.
Step 5: Decisive stage. The Imperial City BOSS has a HP of 500,000, and its attack modes include range-shaking and straight-line piercing. The core play method is to first clear out the 4 minions on both sides, and each minion will drop a recovery ball with 10% energy. After the energy bar is full, activate the ultimate move "Shadowless Blade", which will cause a single critical hit of about 150,000 damage. If you form a team (a dual-assassin lineup is recommended), with one person attracting monsters and the other dealing damage, you can take them away with two rounds of ultimate moves. If you brush alone, it will take 3 rounds. Be careful to avoid the AOE stiffness after the BOSS falls to the ground, and use teleportation skills to move to the back to output.
Finally, here is a set of comparative data: Using my optimal route, the Assassin took a total of 29 minutes and 48 seconds from establishing the account to killing the Imperial City BOSS, which was 11 minutes faster than the warrior and 8 minutes faster than the mage. The key equipment only requires one Shadow Blade, and other parts can be passed with white equipment. If you are also pursuing speedrunning, remember to set the skill shortcut key to QERT, which saves 0.3 seconds of triggering time compared to the default 1234 - don't underestimate this 0.3 seconds, you can get one more critical hit after 3 rounds. 🔥
PS: This guide is suitable for 0 Krypton accounts. No recharge is required. All equipment can be obtained in the Forest of the Dead and Imperial City dungeons. If you are stuck in a certain link, you can post your panel and skill point allocation downstairs, and I will help you calculate the profit ratio. 📊
