I just saw someone recommending "The Romance of Immortals" in the game exchange area. As a reviewer, I happened to use this game to talk about my personal standards for rating mobile games. First of all, let me make it clear that I am not bragging or making any accusations, I am only talking about personal experience and logic.
Let's talk about the picture first. This game claims to have SSS-level quality and PC-level graphics. According to actual measurements, the scene modeling is indeed at an average level for mobile devices. The light, shadow and color tone are more fairy-like, and some cost investment can be seen. However, compared with real PC games, there is still a gap in texture fineness and dynamic details. For example, the particle density of character hair and skill special effects is about 7 points (out of 10). This score is based on the horizontal comparison of the "mobile 3D Xianxia" sub-category. It is not top-notch, but it is not stupid either.
Dimensions of gameplay. It focuses on "love" and "zero krypton". After actual experience, the old routines such as daily tasks, dungeons, and equipment enhancements are all there. The combat feeling is indeed a bit more refreshing than similar AVG battles, and the feedback on combos is good. However, the "love" system is more of a bundle of social functions. The core of the game is still driven by numerical values, which is different from the "free and easy" promoted - if you don't spend money, it will take a lot of time to get top-notch equipment through tasks. The gameplay score I gave is 6.5 points. The deduction points are that the repeatability is relatively high, and the "zero krypton" is more of a benefit in the early stage. If there is no krypton gold or liver in the middle and late stages, a bottleneck will be found.
Krypton gold is the key point. The official emphasis is on "zero krypton". The initial redemption codes vip666, vip777, and vip888 indeed give away a lot of resources and card drawing coupons. In the early stage, the zero-yuan party can play very comfortably. However, there are still VIP levels in the game (unlocked by recharging and activities). In the later stages of the arena and leaderboards, players who earn money will have a clear advantage, and players with zero money will gradually feel the pressure. However, compared with other "free" Xianxia games, it can be considered a conscience, at least it is not forced to use krypton. I give Krypton Gold Dimension 8 points because the initial experience is very good, but it requires rational control in the middle and later stages.
The social system is relatively complete, including romance, mentoring, and gangs. It also has built-in voice and sworn functions, which can effectively stick to players. But the disadvantage is that the automatic love matching algorithm is too crude, it is easy to encounter "fake players" (AI), and the dialogue is a bit mechanical. Social points are 7 points.
I would give the overall score about 7.3 points. The advantages are good graphics, sufficient benefits in the early stage, and a complete social system; the disadvantages are homogeneous gameplay, high numerical pressure in the later stage, and average depth of love functions. It is suitable for casual players who want to experience the fairy tale theme and don't mind a little bit of krypton gold or being able to play hard. However, if you are pursuing hard-core strategy or pure zero krypton all-access, you may be disappointed.
Finally, a reminder, no matter what the game is, the ratings are only for reference. It is recommended that you download the trial redemption code first, play for half an hour, and feel for yourself whether it suits your taste. After all, "zero krypton" does not mean "conscience", the most important thing is that it suits you. 😄
