Hello everyone, I am A Xing. After the new version of "Beiliang Fierce Swordsman" was launched, many brothers in the group asked me whether the new pet and transmogrification system were worth it, and whether the combat power bonus was insignificant. I spent the whole afternoon measuring the data today, and I went straight to the practical information without any falsification.
Let's first talk about the numerical mechanism of the new favorite. The new “cute favorites” added this time are actually divided into three levels: common, rare and legendary. I took a legendary "Snow Wolf Cub" for comparison testing. The basic attributes directly add 1800 points of life, 120 points of attack and 90 points of defense to the character - note that this is added directly on the panel and does not take the percentage bonus. But the really terrible thing is its passive skill "Frost Shield", which provides 8% damage reduction after triggering, lasting 3 seconds, and has a built-in cooldown of 20 seconds. Converted into equivalent health points, it is equivalent to approximately 15% extra survival time in a one-on-one scenario. So if you mainly play PVP, the priority of this pet is actually higher than an orange piece of equipment.
Let's talk about mount fashion. The newly released "Red Flame War Horse" and "Shadow Flying Fox" provide different riding combat attributes. I tested it and found that in the mounted state, the bonus given by the mount is additionally calculated in the "mounted combat damage" riding area and does not overlap with the panel attack. The Red Flame War Horse adds "cavalry combat attack power +8%" and "movement speed +10%", while the Shadow Flying Fox adds "cavalry combat critical hit rate +5%" and "cavalry combat critical hit damage +15%". This gap is huge - in a big melee like a national war, the benefits of movement speed are actually overestimated because it will be interrupted by control skills; on the contrary, the critical attack style is more suitable for the crispy back row in seconds. I suggest that if you already have high-crit equipment, give priority to the Shadow Flying Fox, which can increase your total output by about 12%.
For the transformation of wings, the numerical value is the most direct. I tested three levels of wings: the elementary "Feathering Spirit", the intermediate "Tianxiang" and the advanced "Cang Qiong". Yu Ling only adds 200 combat power, Tianxiang adds 850, and Qiong directly adds 2200. But note that there is a hidden "level suppression" in the value of wings. For example, high-level wings have an additional 5% damage reduction to low-level wings. This means that if you only build mid-level wings, the actual output will be reduced when facing Krypton's sky wings. So if you have a limited budget, you either don't get wings (because the initial level is extremely cost-effective), or you just save resources and go to the high level. The middle level is the transition pit.
Next, let's talk about the optimal strategy. With limited resources, I have prioritized the following: Legendary Pets > High-level Wings > Mount Critical Strike Costumes > Ordinary Pets > Intermediate Wings > Mount Movement Speed Costumes. Why are legendary pets ranked first? Because its damage reduction passive can allow you to survive an extra wave of skills in national wars, and survival is the prerequisite for output. Moreover, the cost of pet cultivation is relatively low. It only takes 20 pet stones to feed a legendary pet to the full level, while high-level wings require about 150 fantasy fragments. The cost-effectiveness is clear at a glance.
Finally, a practical outfit suggestion: If your character's panel attack is below 8,000, give priority to cavalry combat critical hit damage. Combined with the Shadow Flying Fox's 15% critical damage, a charge skill can deal twice as much damage as a flat A; if the panel attack is over 10,000, then the 8% cavalry combat attack of the Red Flame War Horse is more advantageous, because the attack power base is high and the multiplication benefit is greater. Also, don't forget about the free trading system - I tested it and found that low-level pet eggs and ordinary wing fragments can be sold in trading houses. The price fluctuates with demand. It is recommended to throw them away before the peak of the national war at 8 o'clock in the evening. You can earn 15%-20% more silver coins, and then use these silver coins to collect high-level fragments. This is called "floating flow", which is much more cost-effective than hard krypton.
Okay, that's it for the data. If there are still brothers who are confused about the specific numerical conversion, you can leave a message downstairs and I will bring a watch to test. Remember, don't blindly buy new versions. Calculate the marginal benefit of each point of combat power first before taking action. 😏
