Brothers, I really can't stand it anymore😭
This afternoon, I was dragged into another three-hour meeting by my boss. From product iteration to competitive product analysis, I sat in the corner and frantically dug out three rooms and one living room with my toes. I finally made it to get off work, but before leaving, my boss said, "I'll submit a plan tomorrow." I wanted to stuff the pothos on the desk into his mouth right then and there.
You know, at times like this, the only way to survive is to play games secretly. But for those games that require dungeons, guild battles, and cards to earn money, I feel tired even clicking on them - after all, 996 is already hard enough, who wants to be a bully again in the virtual world!
Until I discovered this treasure game "Dream Cake Shop" 🎂
It is said that the nostalgic version is back, but an elderly person like me has actually never played the old version. I clicked on it purely because it was "free + not annoying". Once you start, you can't stop!
This game is great for fishing.
All you need to do is make cakes, decorate the shop, and occasionally send gifts to your friends. There are no limited-time events to chase you, no server-wide rankings to force you to get involved, and even the physical value is very generous. I secretly click a few times at work, put the cake in the oven, then switch back to Excel and pretend to make a spreadsheet, and come back later to collect the dishes.
The most amazing thing is that it can actually be hidden in the "calculator" form! I hid the icon in the tool folder on the third screen of my phone with my backhand. When the boss passed by, I pressed a few numbers without changing my expression, perfectly pretending to be a professional elite👨‍💼
The game graphics are also super healing. The pink and tender cake shop, coupled with the brisk BGM, feels like all the resentment caused by overtime has been milked away. And it's not a waste of time. Upgrading depends entirely on the accumulation of time. When I'm fishing, I click on the screen and watch the customers queuing up to buy cakes. I feel an inexplicable sense of accomplishment like “I'm managing a store” - even though this store can't even afford to hire employees, and I have to make the cakes myself (exactly like reality!)
What touches me the most is the feelings of veteran players. I added a guild group in the game, which is full of "cake friends" who send each other gifts and copy homework every day. Someone posted a post saying, "Ten years ago I secretly played this in high school, and now my kids are all into it." The following people burst into tears.
As for a new player like me, I just collected the cakes silently and sighed: Finally there is a game that doesn't force me to work overtime.
Dear workers, if you are like me, you are so overwhelmed by work that you just want to lie down, but you don't want to continue playing the game, I really recommend giving this a try.
Anyway, I've been fishing for three days, and my boss hasn't noticed yet (probably...)
Final reminder: Fishing is risky, so switch back quickly! Remember to turn on a vibrating reminder, the boss's footsteps are more accurate than the alarm clock😎
(By the way, you can download the game by searching “Dream Cake Shop” in the app. It's completely free and doesn't even have a monthly card! But don't ask me why I know that, my wife was still baking cakes after playing until two o'clock in the middle of the night...)
