I just finished playing the last arena game of the day, and my mind is already a little stuck, but I just can't bear to turn off the game. This game is really like that. You clearly promised to "play one more game before going to sleep", but when you look up, it's almost dawn. Who would have understood, folks, that the combination of side-scrolling battles and card development can be so awesome.
I originally wanted to find a slower-paced game to relax. After all, I had to go to work during the day and wanted to play something quiet at night. Super Smash Bros. Academy initially attracted me because it allowed me to collect characters from various comic books and movies, but I, an old two-dimensional person like me, simply couldn't resist it. As a result, I couldn't control it as soon as I started playing. I wanted to get all three stars in every level, and I wanted to raise every character, especially those levels that restored classic anime scenes. As I played, I started to reminisce about my childhood, and then... continued to play.
The most outrageous thing is that last night, in order to gather the breakthrough materials for a character, I read through the activity book more than thirty times. My eyes were a little dazzled when I brushed the screen, and the light effects of the character's skills on the screen were like fireworks, and I was so happy. My roommate had gone to bed long ago, and I didn't even dare to tap the keyboard too loudly. I could only bite my lip and suppress a smile while watching the character's ultimate move to clear out the monsters. The feeling of secretly playing games alone late at night is so happy, but so sleepy.
But to be honest, the card development in this game is quite in-depth. You can play a lot of tricks by matching the costumes and skills of different characters. I'm currently trying out a "control flow" lineup, which freezes the opponent and slowly grinds away their health, which is especially suitable for players with handicapped abilities like me. Although the operation is a side-scrolling action, it actually doesn't require that much reaction, and it's more about tactical coordination, so you won't be too tired if you stay up late playing, but time flies away without you realizing it...
Ah, after writing this post, I want to go online again to see if my physical strength has recovered. No, no, it's almost dawn, I really can't stay up all night again today. Tomorrow...oh no, I have to get up and go to work this morning. It's so difficult for me. 😭
All in all, Brawl Academy is really suitable for late-night parties. It has a comfortable pace and a lot of content. You can just play it for a few hours. If there are any sisters like me who like to play games quietly at night, you can try to play it, but don't stay up all night like me, my brain is already a mess now...
Forget it, just go up and collect a daily reward and then sleep. Seriously, just collect a reward. Good night (good morning?) everyone, the night owls are going to have a pillow fight. 🌙
