Let me first talk about how I got into the trap. I saw a lot of people discussing military chess in the special area before, talking about strategizing and winning thousands of miles, which sounded very high-end. I'm a newbie who can't even play Landlords, but I dare to click in and give it a try. As soon as I entered, I was confused. Who is the commander and what is the bomb? The chess pieces all looked the same. I couldn't even find my own flag😭
The worst thing was the first time I played a two-player battle. I excitedly sent a soldier forward, but the other side killed me with a bomb. I was still wondering at the time, how could my soldiers be so powerful that they could blow up people? Later I found out that it was a mine planted by someone else! Oh my god, the game routine is too deep 😂
Later, I learned my lesson and ran to play human-machine battle first. The result was even worse, I couldn't beat the simple mode. That computer seems to be able to read my mind and block me wherever I go. One time, I managed to get the commander out of the army and wanted to kill everyone, but I bumped into his commander and was immediately stunned. At that moment I really wanted to throw my phone!
But to be honest, although I am not good at it, this game is really good. I later discovered that I could load classic layouts, which literally saved my life! There is no need to make random formations by yourself, just use the big boss's formation. Although you still lose more and win less, at least you won't give away people at the beginning, haha.
Another little discovery is that you can actually choose the order of moves. Clockwise or counterclockwise, this is very friendly to novices. You can choose whichever one is comfortable for you to get used to. As for the four-dark and double-light modes, I still dare not touch them now. I feel that only a master can understand them.
Anyway, as a newcomer, my current goal is not to be instantly killed as soon as I start. If I can keep the chess pieces alive until the end game, I will win. ✌️ If you have newbie friends like me, it is recommended to start with the easy difficulty of human and computer. Don't imitate me and rush directly to play with real people. That will really be tortured to pieces!
Finally, I would like to thank the experts on the forum who recommended Military Chess. Although I still don't understand the secret method of Dark Chess, this game is indeed quite interesting, and I am ready to continue playing it! Friends who are also newbies can share their experiences on pitfalls together. Let's encourage each other and strive to get rid of the title of cute newbie as soon as possible😆
