Recently I saw a game called "Everyone Comes to Decorate" which is very popular. As an old match-3 player, I naturally wanted to give it a try. Let me start with the conclusion: This game actually has nothing to do with decoration😅. It is essentially a variant of the match-3 puzzle game, but it does have some new ideas in the gameplay.
In terms of graphics, the overall theme is a casual puzzle cartoon style. The colors of the blocks are bright, and the various patterns are recognizable, so you won't get dazzled after playing for a long time. The interface UI layout is simple, and the click feedback is relatively smooth. But to be honest, the picture quality can only be considered average, and there is nothing particularly stunning about it. However, it is definitely comfortable and not cheap among similar casual games. Give 7 points in this dimension.
The gameplay is the core highlight of this game. Traditional Match 3 involves exchanging adjacent blocks, but the rules of "Everyone Comes to Decorate" have been changed to select three identical blocks in the level and put them into the collection box at the bottom. When you collect three, they will be eliminated until all the blocks on the field are cleared to win. It sounds simple at first, but in actual operation, you need to consider the order. Sometimes a certain block is pressed on the bottom, or the same pattern is too scattered, and the idea will be stuck. This cycle of "finding-matching-elimination" does have a wonderful sense of puzzle solving. After clicking on a few squares to eliminate them, the brain will produce that small sense of achievement feedback. Moreover, it has no time limit, so it is suitable for playing a game in odd hours, and there is no pressure at all for a handicapped person like me. The gameplay is novel and challenging, giving it 8 points.
In terms of monetization, this game has a 0-payment model, no in-app purchases, and no forced pop-up ads (at least I didn't encounter any when playing). For a casual puzzle game, this level of conscience is quite good, and it won't be overwhelming to play. Directly give full marks, 10 points.
Social interaction may be a weak point of this game, as it is basically a pure stand-alone experience. There is no ranking of friends, no common levels, and no team system. However, considering that the core experience of this game is to calm down and solve puzzles by yourself, the lack of social functions is not a fatal injury, but if you want to play with friends for fun, I am afraid you will be disappointed. This dimension is given 5 points.
In the final comprehensive evaluation, the innovative gameplay of "Everyone Comes to Decorate" is its biggest selling point. The no time limit setting is very friendly, and the zero krypton gold and zero advertisements are even more bonus points. Although the social attributes are weak and the graphics are not top-notch, as a casual game for relaxing the brain, it is definitely qualified and even exceeds expectations. Overall, if you like puzzle games and are looking for a game that you can take out and play twice anytime, anywhere, this one is definitely worth a try. I give the overall score 8 points. 👍
