Recently, I have been really confused by some "painting paradise" hot chicken games. The promotional pictures are exquisite one after another, the beautiful girl's vertical painting directly pokes my cuteness, the voice actor lineup is luxurious enough to hold a concert, but as soon as I enter the game - good guy, the gameplay is more boring than the old lady's foot bindings, the combat system is like a joke, killing monsters relies on automatic hang-up, and the plot is boiled water instant noodles without even adding salt. 😅
As a two-dimensional otaku, I admit that I often fall into the trap impulsively because of a vertical painting, but I have learned this after being fooled many times: no matter how beautiful the painting style is, the gameplay is bad, just like Paper Man's wife, no matter how cute, will not jump out of the screen to give you a shoulder squeeze.
It wasn't until I encountered "Helicopter" that I understood what "true male romance" is. There are no cute girls or harem plots in this game, but it does have Chinooks, Apaches, Black Hawks, Ospreys...a bunch of giant steel birds! Do you understand? The gameplay...the name is called "heart-torture", you guys have a taste of it. In the first level, I was flying a helicopter in the valley of Afghanistan. It felt like I was drunk. It was shaky and the gunner always missed the target. But it is this kind of extremely hard-core operation that makes me get more and more addicted the more I play! Every time you successfully smash a missile into the target point, or successfully take off from the aircraft carrier deck, the sense of accomplishment is even better than drawing an SSR! 😤
Compared with those mobile games that only use beautiful vertical paintings to trick me into making money, "Helicopter" is simply a breath of fresh air. It doesn't use fancy gimmicks, it just lets you experience the blood and tears of a pilot. Although the phone crashed and you doubted your life at first, once you master it, you will be the king of the sky! 🌩️
