I still remember those years when we held GBA and PSP and secretly hid in bed playing games at night. The screen is small, but the world is boundless. Now when I picked up my phone and clicked on "Miracle for All", I was actually in a trance - this familiar picture, these familiar skills and special effects, seemed to pull me back to the Internet cafe more than ten years ago, and the shiny PSP.
To be honest, I have always had a mentality of "three points of expectation and seven points of vigilance" when it comes to replicating old-end mobile games. After all, I have seen too many "emotional works" that are trying to sell things over others. When entering, they all have automatic pathfinding, one-click upgrades, and pop-ups that fill the screen with money. But "Miracle for All" really surprised me. It didn't lose the soul of that world. The graphics created by Unity3D are full of particle effects. The black dragon wave of the mage and the whirlwind of the warrior still feel the same as in the memory, even more gorgeous. When I slide the screen on my phone to display skills, all I can think about is the days when I played "Soul of Light" on the GBA. There were no such dazzling lights and shadows at that time. It was all based on pixels, but we still played enthusiastically.
Can you understand that feeling? Just when you see the familiar word "miracle", hear the familiar BGM, and draw a skill arc on the screen with your finger, youth seems to really rise from the depths of your memory, pat the dust away, and smile at you. I have played many remakes on the NS and tried various emulators, but this time is different. This is the "Miracle MU". It was the starting point for countless people to form a team to farm monsters in an online game for the first time and stay up all night for an "excellent" weapon.
Of course, I also have to be honest. The mobile version definitely has its own operating logic, which is different from the hard-core button feel on handheld consoles back then. I was not used to the virtual joystick at first, and I always wanted to use the cross keys to make moves. But after getting used to it, I found that its impact and skill coherence were quite smooth, especially the "holographic three-dimensional space" feeling. When the perspective changed, the heartbeat of watching the big guys PK in the Internet cafe came back. And when you have fragmented time, you can take it out and brush it at any time. It is indeed much more convenient than sneaking around with a PSP in the past - although there is no sense of ritual like using a flashlight to shine on the screen under the covers (laughs).
Having said all this, I actually want to give you peace of mind for those of you who are also getting older. If you have ever played "Golden Sun" on GBA on your desk, played "Monster Hunter" on PSP, or have been crazy about "Miracle MU" in an Internet cafe, then you can really try this "Miracle for All". It is not the kind of cold reskinned mobile game, it is like repackaging a certain fragment of our memory with modern technology and handing it to us. Open it, and the passion, brothers, and all-night nights of those years seem to be still there.
I won't say any more, I'll go run another dungeon and see if I can get the “Legendary Staff” I dreamed of back then. Although you can't go back to youth, it's nice to be able to touch it again on your mobile phone. 🎲✨
