First let me talk about the core criteria for competitive games: operating limit, confrontational game, and version balance. On the surface, this game is a side-scrolling action brush game, but the depth of arena PK is actually seriously underestimated. Combining moves is not a mindless one-button move. There is a lot of emphasis on the starting point, hard attack, and floating connection. The high-end cheating skills, card back swing, and resource management have similar ideas to the jungle rhythm operation of KPL.
What I appreciate most is that it doesn't follow the wrong path of "paying money makes you invincible". The arena has a numerical balance mechanism, and equipment suppression will be corrected. What's more important is your understanding of the hero's skill set. I once saw a brother in the guild who was a zero-charge counterattack by mastering the extreme dodge of an unpopular hero, and defeated the leader in the rankings by crossing the combat power. The thrill of the game was as exciting as when I watched the upset game in the LPL where "the bottom beats the top".
There are indeed many ways to play, including trials, magic caves, and guild battles, but the most valuable thing for research is the arena. Moreover, the version update will adjust the hero strength and skill frame rate. Each change is like a version patch for a small competition, and the play style needs to be re-examined. Recently, the red artifact general Moye has been active, and many old players have returned. The quality of the matches now is obviously much higher.
The art style is quite eye-catching. Many people think the stick figure shape is crude, but when the special effects are rolled out, the overall sense of rhythm and attack feedback are really not inferior to those of big-name action mobile games. If you only love AAA-level realistic graphics, this game may not appeal to you; but if you are like me and mainly focus on whether the "competition core" is strong or not, then it is definitely worth trying for a few days.
Anyway, I am studying it as a handheld KPL. I want to find some side-scrolling action mobile games with competitive depth but not too aggressive. I can try it in the arena. After playing it, I will know that this game is not as simple as it looks on the surface. 😎
