I just turned off the game and suddenly wanted to chat. I stayed up late again recently, but this time it wasn't a game. I lay in bed and hung up to watch my little city develop little by little. As I watched it... I stayed up all night again (face covering)
In fact, this "War of the Three Kingdoms" is quite to my liking. The mud text hangs up, and I don't have to fight and grind copies every day like those big productions. A night owl like me likes this kind of slow-paced game. I can't sleep in the middle of the night and turn on my phone to collect food, see how many battles my generals have fought, occasionally click twice to defeat the enemy country, and then continue to lie down in a daze. Inexplicably, I feel like I am secretly a little lord in a troubled world. While everyone else is vying for the throne, I am quietly farming in a corner. It feels so comfortable.
The most comfortable thing about playing until early in the morning is that no one disturbs me, the whole world is quiet, and only the text battle reports that pop up in the game accompany me. Sometimes I laugh when I read the battle reports. For example, my soldier was beaten away by an unknown soldier on the opposite side, or I suddenly caught a prisoner and could exchange for some money and food. This kind of small luck is particularly healing. You don't need to use your brain too much, and you don't have to worry about missing any limited-time activities. It is very suitable for my confused state.
Having said that, it seems that national war and legion gameplay will be added later in the game. I am a bit looking forward to it but also a bit scared haha. After all, casual players like me like to play alone and slowly. But it would also be nice if we could form an army of night owls in the middle of the night. We could all hang up and collect food together, chat and so on.
Finally, I reflect on my routine. I have stayed up all night again. I will definitely go to work tomorrow with dark circles under my eyes... But no matter what, the happiness at night is really happiness anyway. Good night, oh no, good morning, I should go to bed💤
