Good evening, fellow forum friends, I suddenly thought of a topic when I was scrolling through the posts today. Our forum usually talks a lot about relationships and life, but games are actually also a good carrier for memories and emotions. Taking advantage of the weekend, I will make a small inventory of those strategy games that kept me up late at night, and finally talk about a new treasure I discovered recently.
When it comes to strategy games, many people's first reaction may be to the classic RTS on the computer, such as Red Alert, Age of Empires, etc. You can play it for an entire afternoon, deploying base vehicles, mining mine carts, and exploding troops to push home. It's a hearty experience. Later, mobile games gradually emerged, and everyone was too busy to turn on the computer, but they still couldn't get rid of the addiction in their hearts to command thousands of troops, so various strategy mobile games emerged one after another.
In the past few years, I have played many games one after another, some focusing on construction and management, and some focusing on card matching. But have you ever noticed that there are actually very few mobile games with pure real-time strategy gameplay? After all, operating on a mobile phone is a big problem. Not many can do real-time command, and most of them are turn-based or automatic battles.
But a while ago, I noticed a game called "Fleet Commander". It was a rare mobile RTS with a naval battle theme, and I was immediately hooked. I got it and tried it out for the first time. How can I put it? The feeling of arranging troops on the sea really reminds me of the time when Red Alert opened the sea battle map.
The armament system in the game has been restored with great care. It is not just a random pile of values, but a realistic approach to weapon matching. For example, you have different types of destroyers, cruisers, and aircraft carriers. Each ship has its own positioning. How to arrange the formation, how to separate and outflank, when to launch torpedoes, and how to deploy anti-aircraft firepower all require thinking. Unlike some games where you compete to see whose equipment has a higher star rating, this one really focuses on tactical thinking.
What I like most is its real-time command system, which allows you to fight wherever you want. After the war begins, all ships move in real time. You can adjust the fleet formation and switch attack targets at any time. The feeling of on-the-spot command is particularly exciting. In one game, I relied on a destroyer with residual health to defeat the opposing force, and then circled behind to attack the opponent's aircraft carrier and successfully turned the tables. It felt better than drawing an SSR.
So back to today's review, let me briefly talk about the naval battle strategy mobile games that I think are worth playing, for reference only.
The first one I want to mention is the "Fleet Commander" I just mentioned. It is the most exciting RTS naval battle mobile game I have played recently. It moves the operational logic of real-time strategy to the mobile phone screen, and it is done very smoothly, and the painting style is relatively realistic. When you play it, you feel like you are actually commanding a formation at sea.
The second one is an old World War II-themed naval battle game. It is more oriented towards development. It collects various famous ships and then upgrades and transforms them. The gameplay is relatively easy and it is suitable for friends who like to collect ships.
The third game is a strategy game based on modern naval warfare. It has a deeper level of tactical simulation and includes elements such as submarine warfare and anti-submarine warfare. Hardcore players should like it.
Of course, this is just my personal taste. If you have a strategy game that you think is good, you are welcome to reply downstairs and share it. Maybe you can find a similar game.
Finally, let's talk about “Fleet Commander”. If you are also the kind of person who likes to strategize and win thousands of miles in the game, you might as well give this game a try. Although it is not very popular yet, it can be seen that the production team really likes the naval battle theme and has worked hard on the details. Put on your headphones, listen to the sound of waves and gunfire, and command your fleet to chop through the waves. The experience is really comfortable.
Okay, that's it for this little review. I'll chat with you next time if I find something interesting. I wish everyone a happy weekend and happy gaming. 😄
