It turns out that in this game, you have to click on an item and drag it to another item. I just stupidly click on the item and then use it. No wonder nothing can be triggered🙃
Later, I slowly figured out the way out, and found that many pitfalls were actually made by myself. For example, if you see a glowing thing and click crazy, you will click too quickly and miss the prompt, and you will have to go back and watch it again if you get stuck later. Another time I picked up a knife and thought it would be able to cut a rope, but I pointed it at the rope for a long time and there was no response. Later I realized that I had to find a nail in a certain position and pry it open with the knife before I could get the rope. It was really one wrong step and one wrong step, and my brain couldn't turn around.
Although I have stepped on a lot of pitfalls, every time I figure out a small puzzle on my own, I feel a real sense of accomplishment! Especially when I was saving Jimmy later, I actually discovered a secret door myself!
