To be honest, I only planned to play one level before going to bed, but when I looked up, it was already dark... I stayed up all night again. I am really a sinful woman. 😪
But this game is really poisonous. It's the kind of poison that "plays one more level and then falls asleep" and then cycles until dawn. Each small secret room is very exquisitely made, and the picture is so dreamy that it doesn't look like a puzzle game, but rather like visiting one wonderful small room after another. I also really like the design of the portal. Every time I solve the puzzle and step into the light, I feel a sense of anticipation of "Wow, I'm going to the next world." 🧩
What irritates me the most is that its rhythm is very comfortable. Unlike some puzzle games that rush you to catch up, each puzzle is quietly waiting for you to figure out its temperament. It's just perfect for playing late at night. There is only the light of the screen and the tinny background sound of the game in the room, and the whole person is immersed in it.
Some of the puzzles really made me hug my pillow and think about them for a long time, with my sketch paper still spread out on the keyboard, hahaha. But the moment I solved it, I felt a sense of accomplishment and my sleepiness was washed away. I especially like the clock mechanism and the plant greenhouse at the back. There are so many details that it feels like you are competing with the designer from a distance. 🌿
Anyway, if you also like to use your brain quietly at night, you can really try this game. It's outrageous that it's free, and the developers seem to be doing charity... (whisper, I'm already looking forward to the sequel)
Well, it's almost dawn, I'm going to catch up on my sleep. Good night (good morning?) to this world. 🦉✨
