When I opened the game on the first day, I thought it was quite refreshing to see the vertical screen interface. I had always played the game in horizontal screen. As for the first level, I passed it easily. I even bragged to my friends that this game was too easy, but after more than ten levels, I was dumbfounded😭
The most embarrassing thing is the stone brick! I didn't know at first that this thing couldn't be erased, so I foolishly looked for two identical patterns and tried to connect them, but after clicking on them for a long time, there was no response, and I thought my phone was jammed. Later I realized that the stone brick was an obstacle. It would not move or disappear. I had to go around it and find another company. I said that the more I played, the more familiar it seemed. Isn't this the Huarong Daojia Lianliankan I played when I was a kid?
Another thing that cracked me up was ice cubes. In the early levels, ice cubes suddenly appeared and stuck to the blocks. I thought I had to click twice in a row to eliminate them, but it turned out that clicking the screen frantically was useless. Later, after reading the prompts, I realized that I had to eliminate the same pattern next to the ice cubes so that the ice cubes would break. I really convinced myself that the first piece of ice stuck on me for fifteen minutes, and I almost dropped my phone in anger.
Then there are the vines. This one is even more amazing, it will slowly crawl out to block the pattern below. Sometimes you clearly see a pair of the same pattern below, but the vines cover it up and you can't find it as if you are blind. I didn't know that vines could block my vision at first. I thought it was because of my poor eyesight, so I looked close to the screen for a long time. Finally, I discovered it after using the prompt prop.
Speaking of props, I was very reluctant to use them when I first started playing. I thought I would save them for later. As a result, I accumulated more and more, and I only remembered to use them when I got stuck. In fact, the reminder props are really useful, especially when the fancy obstacles at the back are added together, using a reminder can save a lot of time. Refreshing props are also useful. If you really can't find something that can be used, just refresh them. Don't make it difficult for yourself.
And that bee, I thought it was a decoration at first, but who knew that clicking on it could help us eliminate a pair. The first time I used it, I was stunned for a moment, wondering why this bee had special effects. Later I realized it was an auxiliary prop. It is recommended that newcomers touch all these props at the beginning. Don't discover them later like me, wasting the experience of several levels.
The last pitfall is also the most important, don't be impatient. This game really requires you to use your brain at the end, and you can't pass it by just a few clicks. At the beginning, I had the idea that young people should rely on hand speed. As a result, the more I played, the more I got into trouble. The more I got up, the easier it was to click randomly. Then the system specifically reminded me that I clicked wrongly. The sound sounded very ironic🙃
Anyway, as a newcomer, I am finally slowly figuring out the routine. Although I feel devastated when I get stuck, the feeling of relief every time I find a way to pass the level is really amazing! I am already recommending it to my roommate. I hope she is smarter than me and won't fall down as much as I did.
It feels much better to say it. Thank you to everyone who listened to my ramble. If you have any other tricks to avoid pitfalls, please tell me. Newcomers really need it! 🙏
