Let me make it clear first that I am a game reviewer. Posting a game analysis in the selfie dating section is indeed a bit cross-border, but since someone mentioned this game, I will talk about it objectively. I played this game for two days and then silently uninstalled it. How should I put it? It perfectly explains what “the consequences of speculating on hot spots” are.
In terms of graphics, it adopts a pixel style, but unlike the exquisite pixels of "Minecraft", this game looks like it was drawn with a drawing board. The ground texture is a mess, the characters are modeled like paper figures, and the gun models are so perfunctory that they make you laugh. The 5.0 platform runs smoothly. After all, if the picture quality is not smooth, it would be unreasonable. 😅
In terms of gameplay, it has indeed adapted the "eat chicken" formula - parachuting, picking up equipment, shrinking circles, and shooting. But the problem is, the operation feel is simply disaster. The movement feels like stepping on a banana peel, the camera freezes when opening the camera, the recoil of shooting is completely random, and the bullet landing point is like a lottery draw. I held an AK against a gun, and a broken pistol was held against me. As a result, I died. Are you angry? Moreover, the map design has no sense of hierarchy. It is just a flat land with a few dilapidated houses. Running the map depends entirely on legs and luck.
It is quite conscientious in terms of earning money, and the free game has no in-app purchases, which is a good review. But the price is that the screen is full of ads, videos must be played after each game, and you can jump to the app store by clicking a button. Several times I thought the game had crashed, but it turned out that ads were loading. 🙄
The social system is zero, there is no friend grouping, no voice chat, not even a quick message. Want to communicate with teammates? It all depends on eye cues, crazy punctuation on the map, and sign language. In the current chicken market, the single queue experience is poor and there are no teammates in multiple queues, which is very fatal.
So why is it cold? Quite simply, it thinks it has caught up with the trend, but in fact the game of chicken has been polished to the extreme by major manufacturers. What players want is smooth operation, exquisite graphics, and rich tactical games, not a rough replica visible to the naked eye. Free is not a gold medal to avoid death. Ads will dissuade you, the feel will dissuade you, and poor content will dissuade you even more. The popularity of this game when it was launched was all due to the word "eat chicken", but the players were not stupid and ran away after playing two games.
Overall rating: 4/10. 3 points for the screen, 4 points for the gameplay, 6 points for gold (free after all), and 2 points for social interaction. It's suitable for nostalgic pixel lovers to kill five minutes, but not suitable for serious experience of tactical competition. To put it bluntly, it's not an accident, it's inevitable. After all, even the brothers in the selfie dating section wouldn't give it a chance to ask to be added as a friend. 😏
