In fact, I originally wanted to go to bed early today... but I found a physics simulation game that is perfect for playing late at night, called "Powder Game". It is free and can be played with Android 5.0. I just lay down on the bed and got down.
Really, this game is perfect for playing before going to bed! It is not the type that requires reaction speed or intense operation, but the kind...you can slowly sprinkle a handful of sand and watch it fall, or light a fire and watch the flames slowly lick over it, which is very gentle. What I like the most is using a cyclone to blow up the fallen leaves. I can stare at the movement of the wind for a long time, as if I was dreaming.
There are about thirty kinds of small particles in it, such as water, fire, oil, metal, seeds, ants, etc. If you click on it, it will cause a reaction. For example, gunpowder will explode when it hits fire, and then the wind will blow out; seeds will slowly grow into trees when they hit moist soil. There are no tasks, no winning or losing, just pure observation and tossing, especially stress relief.
I have been playing with a combination tonight: first spread a layer of soil, put a few seeds, then water them, wait for the tree to grow slowly, and then blow the wind to watch the leaves float. The whole person fell silent following the slow rhythm. Although I stayed up until three o'clock again, I felt very calm and didn't feel any anxiety at all. It was much more healing than watching short videos.
If you are used to going to bed late and don't want to play too noisy games, you can really try this. It's free anyway, so it doesn't hurt to try it. Okay, I'll go to bed now, and next time I won't say "I'll go to bed after playing for ten minutes"...probably. 🌙
