Originally I just wanted to play casually before going to bed, but as soon as I played, I lost track of time. The graphics of this game are indeed not exquisite, but the campus atmosphere is quite right. The lights in the corridor flicker on and off, and the footsteps echo in the empty teaching building. It somehow reminds me of the feeling of sneaking out to buy milk tea during evening study in high school. It is nervous and a little exciting.
The most surprising thing is that you can choose two characters to play. I tried the student side first, where I tried various methods to hide from the teacher, rummaging through the cabinet and throwing paper balls to attract attention. The operation felt smoother than I expected. Although I occasionally got caught, there really weren't many scary elements. At most, I was startled by the teacher suddenly turning around, so I didn't feel panicked in the middle of the night. Later, I switched to the teacher's perspective. Wow, it's a completely different game. You can see where the students are hiding. The sense of control of "I'm right behind you but you just can't find me", combined with the nervous footsteps of the students, actually makes me want to laugh. 😂
But to be honest, some levels are quite demanding to operate. A handicapped person like me was stuck for almost 20 minutes and almost dropped my phone in a rage. But after that, I feel very refreshed. That sense of accomplishment that “I finally caught you” is more refreshing than drinking Red Bull.
Anyway, it's almost dawn now, and I have to catch up on some sleep with dark circles under my eyes. But I really recommend it to friends who like a slow pace with a little challenge, especially if you play alone at night. The immersion is particularly wonderful, as if you and the teacher who is patrolling with your hands behind your back are the only ones left in the school.
Okay, I'm going to bed, it's another all-nighter today... Good night, or should I say good morning? 🌄
