Recently, friends always ask me, on what basis do you rate games? Today I will use this post to talk about my own scoring framework based on the "Meow Star Wars" I am playing.
I usually break it down from the four dimensions of graphics, gameplay, monetization, and social interaction. Each dimension has a full score of 10 points, and then the total score is calculated based on the weight. The screen accounts for 20%, the gameplay accounts for 40%, the money accounts for 20%, and the social interaction accounts for 20%. After all, whether the game is fun or not, the core is the gameplay experience.
Let's talk about the picture first. This game takes a more American cartoon approach. The tank accessories each have their own style, and the special effects of welding points, rivets, and tail flames are all done well. But to be honest, the overall accuracy is not very high. You can see obvious jaggedness after zooming in on some scene details. I'll give it a 6.5 point.
I think the gameplay is its highlight. The 10-second game is indeed a selling point, but how fast is the pace? It means that you can play three games by squatting on the toilet. The tank DIY system has a high degree of freedom. Dozens of accessories can be freely combined. A front machine gun is equipped with a rear flamethrower, or a fully defensive tank vehicle. There are many tricks. However, the excitement comes and goes quickly. The depth of the game is actually average. Once the level is high, it is easy to form a fixed optimal solution. Currently, it is 8 points.
In terms of money, this game is currently available for 0 yuan to download. The payment points are to speed up construction and skins, and there is also a game-like gameplay where you place bets to improve attributes. To put it bluntly, it is a dog betting system, which can make you happy and get you high. But it can be played without any money, and you can get basic rewards in every game. The zero-Krypton party experience is considered friendly, and the Krypton gold part is given a 7 points.
The social gameplay includes a gang system and a 3V3 mutual confrontation mode. It is quite interesting to use blackmail to attract people. But the problem is that the gang war matching mechanism occasionally lapses, and you will encounter opponents whose combat power overwhelms you. The experience is average, so I give it a 7 points.
Putting it all together, the total score is approximately 6.5×0.2 + 8×0.4 + 7×0.2 + 7×0.2 = 7.3 points. It can be regarded as an above-average casual competitive work, suitable for entertainment in fragmented time, but not suitable for hardcore players to delve into in depth.
That's my grading criteria, what's yours? Welcome to the comment area to talk about how you rate this game. 😎
