I don't know if anyone is like me. They always want to play something exciting during the day, but when it's time to sleep, they just want to find a mindless game to play slowly. I was browsing the app market today and accidentally saw this "King of Fighters 97ol". I originally thought it was another one of those mobile games that cost money to reskin, but after playing it for half an hour, I actually got a little addicted.
You might say it's fast-paced, but it's not. The classic combos are still there, but you don't need a handicap like me to figure out those complicated commands. You can activate skills with just a few taps on the screen, which is just right for me who can't think very well late at night. And it is only a match at most. After two games, you have to drink some water to slow down. It is not like those games where you can grind endless copies and it will be dawn as soon as you look up.
The most surprising thing is that Iori Yagami still looks the same, Kyo Kusanagi is still there, and even Orochi's voice acting sounds like the old version of the animation. I started the single-player mode, and while playing, I was recalling the embarrassing incident of fighting for the controller with my brother, and then I suddenly discovered that the lines of "Secret Meaning" in this game were recited very slowly, as if they were reciting a good night story😂
Anyway, I decided to rely on it to fall asleep today. I took a couple of puffs before going to bed and slowly fell asleep while listening to the sounds of "load" and "perfect". It was quite healing. I just don't know if combo scoring will affect sleep quality (laughs)
Recommended before going to bed, really, it's better than counting sheep. And you don't need to play online, you can play even if you are offline, so you don't have to worry about not being able to match with anyone in the middle of the night. Accept the Amway as a night owl like me and give it a try tonight~🌙
