To be honest, every time I see someone asking "What's the score of this game" on the forum, I get a headache. Rating is really not something you can just slap your head on and give a number. Especially for a work like "Bloodline" with an obvious niche temperament, you have to break down the dimensions and look at it. I have been playing for about a week, so let me briefly talk about my scoring logic.
As for the graphics, the UI and vertical graphics are at an average level among domestic mobile games. The card surface style is more dark fantasy, and the lines and colors are quite interesting. It is not the kind of assembly line internet celebrity. However, the combat special effects are a bit shabby, the skill performance is average, and the fighting lacks the "bang bang bang hits the screen" feeling. So I give it 7.5 points. The art can improve the score, but the performance can hold it back.
The gameplay is the most interesting part. It is not a mindless stack of combat power like traditional cards, but a design with a little bit of strategic positioning and camp restraint. Each character has camp tags such as vampire, mage, and holy land. Different combinations will trigger additional effects. It's easy to get started in the early stage, but in the mid-term, you have to think about the lineup and the order of skill release. It's not the type that can be passed by hanging up. The liver level is moderate, and daily tasks can be completed in half an hour, but it also has depth if you want to study in depth. This dimension gives 8 points.
The krypton gold aspect must be discussed carefully. The game is free to download, and there is no such thing as "stuck up without recharging" in-app purchases. The SR given by the first recharge is enough to last a long time, and diamonds can be accumulated daily. But skins and some limited characters do cost real money, but fortunately they don't affect the core experience. Therefore, I give it a score of 7.5, which is the type of "it can be supported by micro-Krypton, but it can also be played comfortably for free".
The social system is relatively weak. It is basically an automatic battle mode with friends assisting in the battle. There is no strong interactive content like guild battles. I think this game is more suitable as a stand-alone player to enjoy the plot, so I only give 6 points for the social aspect. But having said that, if it is made into a strong social network, it will destroy the dark and depressing narrative atmosphere.
Taken together, my rating for "Blood Race" is about 7.3. It's not the kind of blockbuster masterpiece, but after playing it, you can feel the production team's dedication to the medieval fantasy theme. The phrase "This time, it's different from three years ago, Dad" in the plot, combined with the background setting of the Millennium War, really put me into it.
As a final aside, I never rate a game based on "whether it's perfect", but rather "how well it does what it wants to do." "Blood" obviously wants to tell a serious story about the vampires, full of betrayal and inheritance, and it does tell it well. As for the scoring criteria, I suggest that you don't just focus on the total score, but break it down to see what is most important to you. 😂
