As a wage earner who squeezes into the subway during the morning rush hour every day, I keep a few small games on my phone that I can open and close at any time. Plants vs. Zombies 2 is definitely my favorite. When I just finished updating the new version, I was simply shocked. There were seventeen time and space worlds plus a lot of new plants. I put on headphones and listened to background music while planting sunflowers and smashing walnuts. Each session only lasted a few minutes. It was perfect for commuting on the subway and fishing during lunch breaks.
I take about forty minutes on the subway every morning on the morning train. I usually play two pairs of games to warm up, and then pick a few decryption levels to use my brain. My friends must know that feeling. Before you wake up in the morning, you have to find something to do that is mindless and refreshing. This game is just right. You don't need to stare at the stamina bar every day like some high-end mobile games, nor do you need to calm down and immerse yourself in it like console masterpieces. Just plant plants and beat zombies, which is a great way to relieve stress.
The only thing I must do after lunch is to clear a few secret realm levels. Recently, the permanent secret realm has been updated with many benefits. I have saved some diamonds and fragments, and I can cultivate new plants with different patterns every week. A non-Emirati player like me actually got the explosive nut, haha, this wave of blood profit! If you don't work overtime when you go home at night, you can also start a round of Penny's Chase event, get some rewards, and take a look at the newly launched plant skills.
To be honest, after working for more than a year, there are not many games that I can persist in playing. Plants vs. Zombies 2 is one of them. The biggest advantage for people like me is that time fragmentation does not affect the experience at all. You can stop whenever you want, and you will not cheat your teammates, nor will you lag behind others if you don't check in every day like some mobile games. If you have a little bit of money, just use the monthly card. You can play it without spending money. It's a good deal.
The only complaint I have is that I've been a little too diligent in updating activities recently. Sometimes I'm so tired from working overtime that I feel so exhausted that I wish I could borrow some blood from the zombies to make my dark circles smaller. But then I thought about it, after all, it's a game, just have fun and relax, play a few games if you can, and don't force it if you don't have time. Sunflowers always smile with me, what else can I say.
So all office workers who are in the same boat as me, if you are also looking for a game that allows you to play in every possible way, why not try a time travel~
