Really, I always thought that King of Fighters was a one-on-one fighting game in an arcade, but I didn't expect that there is a version that allows you to run around in big cities! At first, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to play it because of my handicap, but I found out that this game is not a pure fighting game, but more like free exploration in a huge 3D city. It's a bit like the open-world mobile games I've played before, but it's the role of the King of Fighters. It's amazing!
What I like most is that I can stroll around the streets and see many familiar fighters walking around. Iori Yagami is so handsome! Kyoya Kusanagi is super cool! Although I can't defeat them yet, I am satisfied just watching them from a distance... Then I actually received a mission to help Mai Shiranui find things. This kind of interaction is really great. It feels like I'm not playing a game, but I'm really living in the same world as them😆
The graphics are also much more exquisite than the games I have played before. The buildings and lights are very realistic. I was a little scared when I stood on the top of the building and looked down, haha. And the operation was unexpectedly not as difficult as I imagined! I still don't know how to do the combos the big guys are talking about, but I'm pretty good at normal attacks and dodges. It's no problem to fight some minions, and I feel a full sense of accomplishment!
Although I am still grinding through the first chapter of the main plot, I have started to play it every day. I saw in the game introduction that the most complete range of fighters in the history of KOF will appear, and I am already looking forward to meeting more characters in the future! The charging mode is still 0, which is very friendly to novices like me who are zero krypton, so I can play slowly with confidence.
Anyway, I really want to thank the big guys on the forum for recommending this game to me before, otherwise I would have missed such a great work! I will share new and good games when I play them in the future. I also hope that more novices like me can come and try this King of Fighters world. I really won't regret it~ Let's play together❤️
