I was about to close the game, but then I saw an elf poking its head in the grass... Okay, I'll play for another five minutes.
To be honest, a game like "Elf Baby" is perfect for late night. It may feel slow to play during the day, but at night I feel particularly peaceful when I lie in bed alone, listening to the gentle ding-dong sound of the fusion, and watching the elf change its shape little by little. A purple one with star spots hatched out today, with fluttering wings, like a small piece of the night sky growing on the screen.
The garden has gone from being a bare stone ground to now being filled with glowing lily-of-the-valley flowers. It actually gives me a sense of accomplishment that I gained from staying up all night. 😂 There is a legendary level where you have to touch the same elf three times in a row. I was so sleepy that I kept trying even though my eyelids were fighting. When I finally succeeded, I laughed out loud - and then I found that my cat had woken up from fright and was staring at me like he was an idiot.
Oh yeah, the fusion system really goes overboard. Originally I just wanted to feed two low-level elves before going to bed, but inadvertently a rare species evolved, and I was so energetic that I could stay up for another three hours. There are also many urgent tasks. Although I always get the same one, I secretly look forward to it every time I open the ancient ruins.
After playing for a while, I am no longer sleepy at all. The special effects of fireflies in the garden were spinning, the elves yawned one by one, and even the background music became soft. Suddenly I felt that staying up late was not a bad idea, at least I could quietly accompany these little things to grow up.
...Okay, it's almost dawn, I have to go to bed. Otherwise, I will have to go to work with dark circles under my eyes again tomorrow (oh no, today). I hope I can meet the legendary Golden Jigglypuff soon next time. Good night, elves💤
