Yesterday I saw on the forum that a senior recommended "Endless Prehistoric", saying that it is a very casual text hang-up game, and it is most suitable for a newbie like me to play. So I downloaded it, and I was confused as soon as I entered it😳
The game has a pure text interface, and there are no gorgeous 3D graphics. It relies entirely on imagination, but it surprisingly has that flavor. When I first chose my place of birth, it felt like I was deciding my destiny in cultivation. I couldn't understand anything about "Eastern Wasteland" or "Western Desert", so I chose the one that pleased me. Then the system asked me to choose a name. I originally wanted to call it the domineering "First Immortal of the Ancient World", but the number of words was not enough, so it ended up being "Unknown Loose Cultivator", which quite sounded like that, hahaha.
The novice guide told me that you can become stronger by clicking on practice. In the early stage, you just need to keep clicking on wooden figures and chopping down trees to gain experience. I didn't know what an idle game was at that time, so I was still clicking there stupidly, staring at the screen for fear of missing something. Later, I discovered that as long as I don't turn off the game, my cultivation level will also increase, and I will feel the joy of finding treasures. 😂
The most interesting thing was the first time I went to fight a mythical beast. At that time, I thought I was powerful enough, so I rushed into the wild with a weapon called "Qingfeng Sword", but I encountered a red-feathered bird. It beat me to the ground in three rounds and dropped a lot of materials. I didn't give up and tried the challenge again, but was severely punished. In the end, I cried all the way back to the sect, only to find out that I need to forge equipment before I can fight high-level monsters😭
When it comes to forging equipment, I have been pondering for a long time about the mutual support and restraint of the five elements. An enthusiastic person told me that only by matching materials with metal overcoming wood, wood overcoming earth, and earth overcoming water, will good attributes come out. I was confused, but I still did it. As a result, I burned all the materials I had saved so hard, and the finished product was even worse than the original. I feel like I'm really a big bastard, haha, but it doesn't matter, the boss said that it was like this when I first started playing, and I'll get better with it gradually🫠
Another interesting thing is that it was the first time I entered a cave retreat in the game. The system said it would take a few minutes to break through, so I just waited there, staring at the screen in a daze with my phone next to me. Suddenly I found that my spiritual power had increased a lot, and I had broken through a big realm. I was very happy. As expected, hanging up is my destination. Fighting and killing is not suitable for novices😌
I also browsed the strategy posts on the forum and found that many people, like me, were captured by mythical beasts in the early stage and became masseurs. I felt relieved when everyone complained about it. It turns out that after surviving the novice stage, you can refine magic weapons, capture spiritual beasts as mounts, and recruit disciples to form a sect. It feels like the game is much bigger than expected.
In short, after playing it for the past few days, although I have taken a lot of detours, I am really getting there. The feeling of slowly growing from weak to strong makes me want to keep watching. This is the "unnamed casual cultivator". I will continue to chop wood and practice. I hope that one day I can stand in front of the red-feathered bird and defeat it with dignity💪
Thank you to the guy who recommended this game to me. You have such a good sense~ If there are other newcomers who want to play, let's explore it together!
