Let me give you some background first. Our employees commute for one hour every day and have a 45-minute lunch break, during which they have to avoid the boss's eyes. What kind of open world, hundred-hour RPG, just look at it, I really don't have the time to worry about it. I bought a word-of-mouth masterpiece last week, but it took me two weeks to play it to get through Novice Village. Now when I see the words "main quest", I feel PTSD.
But this little game is different! The name sounds like a slap in the face, but the actual gameplay is even worse - you play as Shi Xiaokeng, an unlucky guy living on a desert island, and you have to use various weird postures to survive in every level. During my lunch break, I took out my mobile phone and played for 10 minutes. I could laugh out loud and scare my colleagues at the desk next door.
The core gameplay is "brain-finding" puzzle solving. Each level has one correct answer, but that answer often makes you want to throw your phone but can't help but slap your thigh. For example, there is a lack of water in the first level. Do you think you are looking for coconuts? wrong! Just chewing on the cactus? Still wrong! The final answer turned out to be... No spoilers, anyway, I was giggling at my phone in the toilet like a fool 😑
Here's the key point - its level design is particularly short and fast, with each level lasting only one or two minutes. Even if you get stuck, you can still hit it by mistake with a few blind clicks. There are more than a hundred levels, perfect for my fragmented time: play two levels on the subway, play one while waiting for someone, and even squat in the toilet to unlock a new way to die (no). The key is it's free! The zero-dollar party is ecstatic, and even the advertisements are rarely played, which is a hundred times more conscientious than some krypton gold sow games.
Of course, it's not without flaws. Sometimes the logic of the puzzle is too crazy. I clearly clicked on the right place but because of the wrong order, Shi Xiaokeng died tragically on the spot. With the magical sound effects, I couldn't help laughing and got a stomachache. But let's just say, what do office workers want? Just for fun. Anyway, my standard lunch break now is: eating a sandwich while watching Shi Xiaokeng to death, which heals the fragile mind tortured by Party A 💆‍♂️
In short, if you, like me, don't have time to play games and want to find some relaxing and mindless fun, this game can really be played. Although the picture is simple, the decompression effect is top-notch. Don't ask me where I've been, just ask me that I've just passed the 50th level, and I'll wait for the rest after get off work (I hope I won't work overtime today 🙏)
